I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. From my experience with Dr. Acevedo, I don’t feel he’s qualified to provide medical care to a hamster. His ego & arrogance filled the room as soon as he walked through the door. He didn’t like me so he did what he could to belittle me. My feelings & my medical conditions were not important to him & he told my nurse that “he didn’t want to deal with me unless I’d been given my mood medication”. AdventHealth should seriously reconsider his employment. I attempted to contact AdventHealth after my experience with this doctor but they never responded.

I met Dr. Acevedo during an emergency staying in Winter Park Memorial Hospital. I was blessed on having him as part of the health team that assisted me. He was explicit, clear, polite and always went looking for what cause my urgency medical need and how to prevent a likely situation in the future. I received an outstanding medical service from him and from all the staff from Winter Park Hospital.

Dr. Acevedo is a poor doctor and is lacking honesty and integrity. Very fragile ego and any questioning of his medical opinion on the part of patient's family was met with retaliation towards the patient - unprofessional and a violation of the Hippocratic oath. Misdiagnosed a case of Lyme disease, symptoms did not match his incorrect diagnoses, so Dr Acevedo bullied the patient and falsified symptoms to fit his diagnoses rather than fitting diagnoses to actual symptoms. Avoid this guy.
