Amazing provider!!!! Explains what’s going on so calming and clear and follows up on his patients. Absolutely amazing!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Ivan Castro Winter Park, Florida for years. Some years ago, so was my mother. My health concerns have certainly changed with age. When he was in a group practice his demeanor was a bit different. More concerned, connected and way more attentive. Years later, now in private practice I now find him much less so. His PA tries really hard to take up his slack. At $3000 plus per year I’m now looking elsewhere.

Love Dr. Castro, Lauren the PA, and Holly! Well worth the cost for the ease, quickness and accessibility to be seen in person or virtual. Reception over the phone could be much better at times. Not sure if it’s a service or staff when it’s poor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Castro now for almost 5 years now. I can't remember the last time that a physician would spend more than about 5 minutes with you during an office visit. Ivan genuinely cares about his patients and it shows when he spends 20-30 minutes with you for a routine exam. Not to mention his staff is TOP NOTCH! They make you feel like you are not there bothering them like unfortunately many medical offices do nowadays. I couldn't give a higher recommendation than what I am giving him and his staff.

I have quit my membership. I recently had back surgery with no follow up from the dr. His bedside manner is ambivalent only matched by a condescending nature. The nurses are great. The doctor does not merit any more than 2 stars.

Horrible person.

Dr. Castro is a wonderful doctor who keeps up with all the latest medical information and is fully engaged during your visit. His staff is totally amazing and are always friendly, caring and competent. The office is beautiful and spotless. Appointments are easily obtained and medical results are received quickly. The private parking lot let’s you access the office in just a few steps. Don’t hesitate to make your first appointment!

Would not recommend. Better options for concierge medicine in the area than this. Don’t give this guy your money.

Dr Castro, Lauren and their staff are amazing at what they do! Dr C is extremely knowledgeable and informative. He does his best to figure out problems before sending to a specialist. Lauren is kind and bubbly. She is very smart and I completely trust her with my medical care. The staff, Erin, Holly and Jennifer, are always happy and answer the phone right away. They don't hesitate to help in any way possible. I am very happy with my care and would highly recommend Private Health MD!

I have been seeing Dr. Castro for a few years and I must share that he is a brilliant physician. He definitely practices what he preaches. He is a strong believer in diet and exercise and it shows in his appearance. He is very caring and actually listens to what you are saying, he never makes you feel as though he is in a hurry to get to his next patient. Dr. Castro is certainly worth the investment for those if us who truly care about our health and physical well-being.
