Friendly staff. Dr. Membreno examined and explained the treatment plan

Visiting FL and developed what began as PVD. When I began having blurred vision I searched for a retina specialist. I called Dr. Membreno's office and was given an appt that afternoon, even after being told they don't take walk-in's or Emergency cases. I was diagnosed with a small retinal tear. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The receptionist called my Dr. office for a fax number to send the treatment report to. Dr. Membreno did a thorough eye exam and recommended a laser treatment. I'm so grateful, appreciative, and humbled for receiving prompt, professional, care and intervention!!! Thank you! Diana

Dr Membreno and his office staff are exceptional. I was at a conference in July 2022 in Disney, when I had an eye emergency. I called my eye doctor in New Jersey and they said I needed to see someone within a day or two and they described it as an eye floater. I called Dr Membreno’s office on a Wednesday morning when they opened and they were able to take me in by 11am. His office staff was incredibly professional and they took me in on time. The doctor is a retinal specialist, which it turns out, I really needed as I had torn my retina and could not see out of my left eye. His examination style is excellent. As he is doing tests he talks through what he is doing and why he is doing it. At the end of his exam, he spent time with me to explain the urgency and also explain the options. I told him and his staff that I preferred to be back in New Jersey to have the eye surgery, which he totally understood. His staff looked up retina specialists options for me so that when I landed in New Jersey later that day, I had been called by one of the specialists. His office followed up and were able to get me an appointment for the specialist for the Thursday (less than 24 hours from my visit with Dr Membreno), where they concurred with the diagnosis and performed laser surgery to fix the retinal tear. If I lived in Florida anywhere near Orlando, I would use him without question. Dr Membreno is tremendously knowledgeable and has a warmth and concern that emanates when he speaks. His staff really hustled so that I could leave his office for a flight home, while they took care of making the appointment for me for the following day. If I lived in Florida, I would definitely use his services and I highly recommend him.

Exceptional! Dr. Membreno is wonderful. He takes the time to explain things in a way that isn't overly clinical (aka over my head) as well as lay out all options. I feel much better regarding my eyesight with this team on my side to take care of it! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is they had their restrooms closed to the public the day I visited this location... And after having my eyes dilated and exiting the building I had to blindly go to McDonalds to use their restroom.

Dr. Membreno and staff are the best ! I was very fortunate to find Dr. Membreno thru my eye doctor for emergency surgery. His staff was able to get me in the following day for surgery which I feel saved my sight. He is for sure one of the best in the Industry ! THANKS !

DR. Membreno was great. Very patient, professional and educated me through any concerns and procedures I needed. I had been referred by my primary doctor to him after seeing an actual eye glass doctor who completely dismissed my symptoms and this place saved my vision at 25 years old. The staff was super kind, positive attitudes, welcoming and caring. Every nurse there made sure you were okay. They are engaged, clean, follow safety measures during this whole covid mess. If you have having second opinions about your vision, don’t give up and come here!
