John Hudson's Online Review Report Card

I do not trust reviews because you will always have morons who are unsatisfied with any little thing. I have had numerous civilian doctors over the years due to having to relocate for the Army so many times. Dr Hudson is by far the most intelligent and kindest doctor I have ever met. He recently retired and I am struggling to find a new doctor because I know no one can replace him. Dr Hudson was by the best Family doctor I had ever had the pleasure to have.

My family and I have been honored to be patients of Dr. Hudson for decades. Every appointment has been thorough and very professional. Dr. Hudson is very knowledgeable, thoughtful diagnostician who spends the time to prepare thorough treatment plans. Dr. Hudson postponed an important trip to be sure my husband was properly treated when emergency hospitalization was required. He does not hesitate to enlist the assistance of specialists and knows many top docs in Winter Park/Orlando. Staff are gracious and low key. The Office Manager, Pam, has extensive medical and business knowledge. Her calm dedication and sensitivity with patients is key to staff and patient morale.

I called to speak to the manager Pam. She took over a week to return my call after I called multiple times. I even came into the office to speak to get but I was told she was busy. I seen her sitting down laughing and talking on her cell phone, eating and laughing with the staff but was"too busy" to help me with my concern. My lab charged my over $700 due to incorrect codes that the office refused to fix. The whole staff is clueless and unprofessional! My plan of care had many misspelled words and didn't make any sense and it was something totally different then what I was you in office. The doctor obviously doesn't care enough to proof read what his Assistant writes. I was also given the wrong prescription which could've made me sick if my pharmacist didn't double check it before giving me the medicine.

This office is not professional! The staff is very rude, not knowledgeable, they sit around talking loud and I overheard a conversation talking down on patients. The office manager does not know how to run an office and she only cares about money and not the patients wellbeing. The assistants never answer the phone or return calls. They make many mistakes and even gave me the wrong paperwork of a different patient with all their info including social security number. You wait multiple hours to see the doctor and his new assistant doesn't know anything about his treatment. His previous nurse Kristen was amazing but it's not a surprise that she is no longer there because of the way she was treated. I do not recommend this office at all!

I was seen almost 2hrs after my appointment time. Ths staff is extremely rude and incompetent. The manager definitely has no managerial experience and is a nasty uncaring person. This office went downhill they never answer the phone, always forget to do things ordered by the doctor as in my referrals, medicine refills, prior authorization. I will definitely find a new doctor. I also told Pam the office manager the same thing and she said okay that's fine do what you have to do I could careless. How awesome is that after being at this practice for 20+ yrs

Don’t bother unless you have all day, the doctor consistently runs 1-2 hours late and they seem to think that’s okay and that not informing the patient is okay. Dr. Hudson was about an hour and a half late and I had to leave because I had another appointment scheduled, they charged me for the nurse taking my vitals even though when she came in she didn’t bother to inform me that he was running late either. I was referred to Dr. Hudson and hoped that he could help solve some things that I’ve been dealing with but I work a full-time job and I don’t have time to sit around and wait for him for hours, especially when the office staff does not bother to inform patients about the regular wait times.

I really wanted to like this place. And hind sight, should have read the reviews before making my appointment. My mother referred me here. The receptionist is very sweet and kind. That's about as far as it goes. There is zero attention to care and detail here. I called several times to speak with the PA who prescribed me medication with questions. I was flat out told the PA would never return my call and was referred to someone who didnt know who I was nor my situation to answer my questions. If you are self pay, dont go here bc they only use Quest. They also told me I couldn't get bloodwork done anywhere BUT quest bc they didnt know how to read any blood work results from anywhere else. I do not feel this is a legitimate medical practice. Was extremely discouraged. It has been months and I have been prescribed something that I'm not even sure I should be taking PLEASE take your business to a place that offers more of a personal touch with their patients, cares a bit more, doesnt run you through the assembly line like you're just another number. They do zero in house. You will be referred out for any labs, bloodwork etc. I should have known this wasnt the place for me when I was patiently waiting in the lobby and a man came in yelling and screaming that they messed up a critical prescription he was on. Not professional. Not well ran. I own a business. They really need to read their reviews and make some serious changes. Very disappointing.

Dr Hudson listens and is thourough. He has the WORST staff ever. So rude and they mess up on the regular. It’s always the patients fault. I still go to Hudson but dread dealing with staff.

The office staff is FUCKING TERRIBLE and the doctor is NEVER HERE. God forbid you actually need a prescription. Brittany Rivkin is WONDERFUL if I were just rating her it would easily be 5 stars but unfortunately you have to get through the bitchy office staff who gaslight you when you're a little upset for having to wait an extra 40 minutes to come back from lunch so you can get your prescription refills even though that was the WHOLE FUCKING POINT OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. Useless and incompetent and rude as fuck to boot.
