List of Lisa Chriss's Reviews
I am a new patient and I have been seen on two occasions. I am a health care provider. I have never had a more overall positive experience with a practitioner. This includes all the office staff, nurses, techs and the both physicians. Everyone provided efficient, courteous and professional care. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Dr. Chriss is wonderful. We have been going to her for several years. I completely trust her and her staff. We never feel rushed. We are taken good care of!
Dr. Chriss is an excellent doctor. She performed cataract surgeries on me, and I am very pleased with the results.
Well let's just say I called to make an appt. , waited several minutes on their automated system for it to tell me they were too busy 4 my call and to leave them my number and they would call me back. I left the message, told them was due for two year exam and she was listed as a preferred provider and my Insurance is uhc. I have yet to get a call. Now I see some disclaimer that since I'm leaving a message that I am a patient of hers but I can really claim that because it appears I'm a victim of an incompetent admin staff, a broken down answer system that lacks a redundancy factor that still catches messages if the main system doesnt work or the possibility I'm discriminated as against forwho knows what reason. I will not call back, I will just take my biz elsewhere which has no meaning be cause it sounds like she has too much to handle or prefers to at this time For allI know she is good since she re eived a good preferred status however in my opinion that shoulderescinded
If you can get an appointment consider yourself lucky! I have gone to her for probably 15 years for my annual refractions and three surgical procedures. Each appointment ends with gratitude and appreciation. PS My father was an ophthalmologist.
The staff are very helpful but I found Dr. Chriss to lack the willingness to explain the possible downsides or side effects of a procedure. She had a sales-like approach. I also felt a lot of pain during cataract surgery, which I told her at that time, and mentioned at a return appointment. She did not apologize or show any empathy; just said, "You held your eye really still," as if she was denying it happened. She falls way short of a good "bedside manner."
if you want to get serious eye surgery done, have no fear there is a 10 star in our mist. Dr. Chriss is extremely precise. She will on settle for perfection. She has a gentle, personality and takes her time with her patients. I'm o my second cornea transplant. i could not be happier. Dr. Chriss has an amazing team in the office and at the Winter Park, Hospital where she does her surgeries. i really appreciated the care with the nurses and Anathes. The sweet Joy who helped m Recovery.
Your never rushed out of your appointment, she spends the time needed specifically for your needs. Hard to get an appointment with her but well worth seeing her.
A wonderful office and great staff. Dr. Chriss is very personable and professional and focused on not only the health of your eyes but your overall health as well. Thanks for all that you do. P.S. Her in house optometrist, Tom is amazing too
Very unhappy with the results of my cataract surgery and wish they would have given me more guidance on choice of IOL lens. For initial appt. had to wait at least three hours. Did not find most of the staff to be sympathetic to my post-surgical difficulties. Once the surgery was done, Dr. Chriss said there was nothing she could do to correct it and in my own research, I found that was not necessarily the case. My eyesight before the cataract surgery was better than it is now. I am very, very unhappy with the result.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
