List of Mark Wuchner's Reviews
I'd highly recommend Dr. Wuchner to others. He asked good questions. Seemed genuinely interested in getting a good result for me.
I was a long time patient of Dr. Wuchner when he was a physician at Scripps Rancho Bernardo. He always showed compassion and was always there for me when I needed him the most. On one occasion I had a lump under my armpit. Fearing the worst I went to see Dr. Wuchner and he immediately found a way that pathology would see me the same day. He went out of his way to have me diagnosed immediately. I am truly sorry he left and wish him the very best.
I had been seeing Dr. Wuchner for several years. He was my primary care provider at Scripps in San Diego. He was always friendly, insightful, and quick with communication. He moved to Florida and will be greatly missed. A highpoint in our time together was when I went in for hip/groin pain. From a simple x-ray he was able to spot a small deformity. When referred to a hip specialist Dr. Wuchner was correct: cam impingement. I ultimately received a total hip replacement and I am forever grateful for Dr. Wuchner noticing the issue and referring me to the appropriate specialist.
I scheduled a phone visit with Dr. Wuchner since my primary was busy and needed to see a doctor right away. Very stoic, did not show any interest in what my symptoms were, did not provide any helpful suggestions or recommendations. When I asked what the average recovery time was, he said about 10 days. I then told him, "Wow, that is a long time." Then he bactracked and said, but some people get better within a couple of days. I also feel like he was not very knowledgeable what can help alleviate some of my symptoms. He basically said it sucks but that is a side effect with being sick and you just have to deal with it. Way to be comforting and provide the assurance that you know I was looking for. I get the feeling that he wanted to get off the phone with me as soon as he can. What a waste of a copay. Never again will I see him, even if it is an emergency situation. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would.
I have had noting but excellent experiences with him. He's attentive, prompt and answers all my questions fully. His nurse is the best!!!
This guy always looks tired & doesn’t give a precise explanation if there is an issue for you to be concerned
Will always send you to another doctor instead of addressing your health issues and not very friendly about it either. He couldn't even tell my elderly father had broken his back while looking at his x-ray. The orthopedic doctor could tell immediately looking at the same film.
If you want a doctor to truly take an interest in you as a patient and work on your behalf then find another physician. Dr. Wuchner will never make a decision on your behalf and will only send you off to another doctor for further treatment. When my father broke his back he couldn't even read the x-ray to see the break, which the orthopedic noticed in less than 10 seconds of looking at the same x-ray film. Very disappointing care and I am going to find another primary care doctor for my father.
Dr. Wuchner is very straightforward and listened to my concerns. Amazing nurse. She is the sweetest and makes all visits go by quickly. Would recommend .
not commited to his job. tell him your symtoms and he will guess , and not know what to do.then tell you what he "thinks" but does not follow up with treatment and shows you the door stay away !!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
