I am retired and have seen no outpatients since July 2017. Medical records can be requested by email
Called today for appointment. After reading all the great reviews. The recording said he retired from out patience. Care. Went on to website u can medical records. Such a shame. I really need a good neurologist.
Top of his field. Dr Menken is an evidence based doctor in my opinion. He regularly evaluated and updated my condition and treatments. I enjoy every time I meet with him and his staff. I feel Dr. Menken believes the patient’s best interest should be the final determinant for all decisions.
He impressed me because of the level of details he captures on written and verbal notes. He's really focused when he examines. If you want an excellent neurologist, he's quick to pay attention to details. He knows when to discount and sort through the muck of multiple symptoms and how it might fit into a bigger picture of overall. I'm so glad I transitioned to Dr. Menkin because of an insurance change. I think with the length of time in practice, he has seen everything. I complained about pain behind the knee and he immediately had it Dopplered. Would you believe they found something more serious than what we suspected? He did not diagnose on just a physical exam and he listened to me and put the two together. Even though he might come across like a "no-nonsense" crusty guru,he is a guru. Do you know even he may seem reserved without a sense of humor, he cares. He personally, not his nurse or MA, called me back to explain the results of the Doppler--that's a rarity. He stepped me through his plan of action..that helped to stabilize my worries.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
