Maxine Tabas..run as far as you can from this demon.she uses"Mohs"skin removal.what you dont know is,everytime they flay off a skin layer,they add an xtra $200.great incentive to remove half your arm,which is what happened to me.She and her lead nurse were busy tell8ing jokes and tag team humiliating an intern,who was the only one that showed compassion.She may have been an understudy of Josef Mengele.The broad is a butcher.NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go there.basal cell on my arm the size of a pencil eraser is now a hollowed out gouge measures 6"x4".looks like a shark savaged me.More details?you dont wanna know.She needs a malpractice suit.Go to Dr.Shirer in Ocoee,World's Best!!

Although the PA and female tech were pleasant,the check in girl and checkout guy not so nice.I heard the girl talking about my private health records with the checkout guy.Then they made some joke about me. Very unprofessional and rude. When i left the checkout guy just handed me the card rudely!I left feeling worse than I did when I came in.

I saw Dr. Tabas in November of 2015 for Basal Cell Carcinoma on my chest. While she might be a good surgeon, its hard to tell over the facility and staff that surround her. They overbook by 25%, They waiting space is so small, that there are always 5-8 people standing. They return individuals undergoing surgery to this cramped room while they await pathology so that they can start cutting more people. On my six month follow up, they took 3 more biopsys. I'm waiting for 21 days for results?

This office seriously overbooks. Count on waiting an hour or more. On my last appointment I counted 25 people in the waiting room. After an hour I left never to return. I have been a patient for years as the problem has gone from annoying to totally unacceptable. When you finally get to see the doctor she is always rushed and has no time to explain things or answer questions.

Rude, uncaring, aloof, condescending, etc. etc. Crowded office. Will never ever go back to that office if she was last dermatologist in Orlando!

I am trying to find a good dermatologist for my mother & ran across this Dr. again! I myself saw her about 4 years ago & WILL NOT bring my mother to her. I agree with all the negative comments, wait time was unbelieveable for me too & then when I thought the staff was calling me in for my appt. they said they had to schedule a new one cause the doctor never came in!! I don't know if anyone noticed, but above the front desk is a paper that shows if you don't come for your appt. you have to pay $50 for missing it. Well I brought that up since the Dr. Tabas missed my appt & wasted my time waiting & driving there, she should reimburse me $50!! Never happened...

I ignored the quirks (many mentioned here) but It turned out her staff did not completely remove my cancer and now I am having to go through eyelid surgery again.

I went to Dr. Tabas two years ago for what I have learned to be Basel Cell issues. I too, sat in the exam room for almost an hour. Dr. Tabas breezed in, not even introducing herself or any pleasantry. I told her I had a few places for her to look at and she told me to pick three. I told her I was in the sun way too much prior and needed her to also look me over for other problems. That was a no can do! I got three places and that was it for that day and would have to reschedule. But I was so taken aback at how brusk and rude she was as it I was bothering her to have even come it to see her. Swore I would never go back. Mentioned my experience to friends who told me she has a terrible reputation for being rude and uncaring. Dr. Tabas may be talented at what she does, but who would know when you are so limited that you can never get her to look at anything nor explain nor answer a question.. Try Dr. Amy Darrow.

Read the reviews before my appointment and wondered is it even possible that someone as credentialed as Dr. Tabas could have an office that could deliver such a lack luster experience? Glad I went with my instincts because the receptionist , technician and the Doctor ALL delivered a best in class experience! Confirms to me just how bad for your health being negative is....rock on Dr. Tabas & crew....see you next month !
