A great Dr.s office with a caring staff
I’ve been going to this location for 15 year. Unfortunately the receptionist now are very rude and they are not accepting appointments by the phone any longer. I guess you need to drive there to set your future appointments. Will be looking for a new doctor
Dr. Barimo is one of the very few physicians who make/take the time to look you directly in the eye, speak directly to your needs -- and listens. My mother was a nurse with the profoundly challenged, and her motto was always, "...have what you do best serve your patient - and that is what Dr. Barimo does. He is coridial, pleasant, confident, attentive, professional, and, obviously, very learned. I actually enjoy very much all my interations/appointments as though they are much needed therapy...and that's what they are. If you are looking for a pcp, he's your man.
I’ve been seeing Amy H. Since we relocated to Florida a couple years ago. We haven’t had a negative experience yet. My calls are always returned, the woman at checkout counter are incredibly sweet and kind - always provides clear details on next steps.
Bery nasty office people at front desk had bad experience! They give you a hard time for everything .....
If you want a doctor that actually listens to you and spends time with you. Dr Barimo is the doctor for you. My sister and her entire family have been seeing Dr Barimo for 20yrs plus. I started seeing him about a year ago and he's probably the best doctor I've ever seen.5 stars to this man!!!
I have been speaking with Rachel regarding an insurance concern. Rachel was very professional and more than helpful. I called back to follow up , I spoke with a staff member by the name of Debbie who was condescending, unprofessional and rude. I am so confused by the way she responding to me , finally I asked to speak to someone else that could help me out since she was not willing to help. She put me on hold for 16 minutes then proceeded to hang up. I called back , Grace answered the phone , she was courteous. She transferred me to Jennifer after I asked to speak to the office manager. Jennifer stated the office manager was out and no one in a management position was able to take my call and to call back after the holidays. The providers are great , the rest of the staff not so much.
I visited the office on May 26 for a physical. I had to follow up with the office 3-5 days later to get my results. I was not upset with this as I understand we had a federal holiday around that time. I was told by the office staff around June 1st that I need a referral to an endocrinologist, and I would receive a call shortly with the necessary information. I’ve since called the office twice and spoke with Lisa. My wife followed up on my behalf around 6/15, and I STILL have not received the referral information to help me with my medical needs (review posted on 6/19). The medical staff in this office are fantastic, but they need to consider the competency of their office staff. It has been almost a month since my visit, and I still have no information to assist me with my medical needs. I’m not one to post negative reviews as I realize this can greatly impact the health of the business. I do feel, however, after a great deal of effort that I have no recourse other than to attempt to gain the attention of the ownership so I can address the needs of my physical well-being. UPDATE: After leaving a message for Dr. Ben and posting this review (both of which took place outside of office hours), Dr. Ben took immediate action. My needs were met and he reassured me that my medical concerns were his top priority. Thanks for turning this around!
I am a patient looking for a new doctor from my insurance. Why is your website a directory of viagra? That’s really weird. Please update and have a website for new and existing patients to interact with your practice!
a minute agoNEW Let me just start with, the staff here, and some of the doctors even, are completely Not the people you really want to be talking to if you ever owe them any kind of money. The upfront staff, the office staff, I've never had a good experience with, and are just outright rude and condescending, and we'll say anything to try to get you off the phone or out of their face. Long story short, I had to threaten legal action to get a 30-day refill on my diabetes and asthma medication. Here's the actual story, the office themselves called into my pharmacy and deactivated already filled prescriptions due to the fact of an outstanding invoice of $300 from my last visit. I had already explained to them that I was in between jobs and I would not have new insurance until August, so they had set up a follow-up visit (which they have now canceled themselves, And I've taken the Liberty to completely just cut me off). This is complete malpractice, and illegal. Unless the prescriptions themselves interacted with each other negatively, or there was a mistake made on the doctor's part, they have no right to call in and deactivate already filled prescriptions under the notion that I owe them money. I'm pretty sure that's not what The pharmacy was told, so no fault on them, they have to go by the doctor's orders. I called in today, I don't remember her name, but I basically explained my situation, had to threaten legal action, and actually showing up to the office in person and causing a scene to even just get a one-month refill on both my asthma and diabetes medication. She actually said, on a recorded line, that "They Have every right to deactivate my prescription if I have not paid them for services rendered," as if medical services and prescriptions apply. Spoilers, they do not. This is not internet service, this is medication to keep someone alive. They unfortunately did not budge on my already filled with two more refills prescription for my anxiety, which is also a disability I have, so I am now seeking legal counsel against this office. What it comes down to, they're fine, as long as you never owe them money, and then they turn into a collections agency that will Not only deny you any refills, which they have every right to do, but will call your pharmacy and lie about you not needing the medication you already have filled to deactivate the medication, and force you to have to pay them whatever you owe. Stay away from this office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
