Dr. Ziajka is a wonderful doctor! Unfortunately he has closed his practice. I saw him for several years. He always really cared about my health. I will truly miss him and his staff. There are no other lipidologists in the area so I know that there are many other patients in the area who are in need of another caring and committed physician like Dr. Ziajka. We wish the best for Dr. Ziajka!

Dr. Ziajka was very knowledgeable regarding my condition. A good listener, he was very candid and to the point regarding his recommendations for my treatment. Sensitive to my time, Dr. Ziajka was attentive and provide a road map for me that was easily understood and affordable. Following his recommendations and follow-up. Dr. Ziajka was able to lowert my LDL from 167 to 117 in 60 days. Last panel, October 15, 2014, ldl had drop to 98. He has prescribed an attainable goal of reducing my levels to under 94 which is with-in reach. Very satisfied with him and his staff.

I had terrible cholestrol levels partly due to genetics. Instead of discussing how you can lower your cholestrol naturally, for example if you have lippopprotein A, Niacin therapy can reduce it considerably, fish oil 3x aday instead of once, red yeast rice therapy, artichoke extract. No you are stuffed with free samples of cholestrol lowering drugs. I was put on a high dose straight away. The nurse of my primary doctor told me to take coQ 10 to lessen muscle problems. ( He forgot to mention that, it did not help anyway)There I was, 4 weeks on crestor, I got immense muscle aches, behind my left shoulder, could not put washing from my washing machine into dryer, could not sleep, 3 advils at the time did not help, muscle relaxants I got from another doctor did not help. I called his office, his receptionist, talked to him while standing next to him, he did not have the decency to speak to me personally, I cancelled everything as a resutlt.I researched statins for days, most people are off them within a year, because of either terrible muscle problems, or stomach problems.Why do doctors not tell us about natural therapies, Guess how much they make from drug companies, free holdidays, lunches etcI shall never go to this Dr in my life again and don't reccommend him.
