List of Philip Meinhardt's Reviews
After routine PT and pain management, I underwent a spinal fusion.
Even at 79 y. o. I was always very active, after 2 previous surgeries, the 2nd with no positive results my condition deteriorated to the point where I became hunch backed with a tremendous amount of pain in my lower back & the back of both legs. I couldn't stand, walk, or sit for any period of time. I was turned down by several back surgeons, after an exam by Dr Meinhardt, he stated "I can fix that", I expected the opposite & thanked him, then realized that he didn't refuse me asking "What did you say?" He again stated "I can fix that." I stated I was not prepared for that answer after being refused several times. He told me go home, think it over, let me know what you would like to do. It required little thinking, I called him upon my return home stating "let's do it" It was the best decision I ever made. Dr Meinhardt gave me my life back! After the surgery recovery period, Dr Meinhardt scheduled me for physical therapy, I'm a new man!, Back to my old self again but more cautious.
He is bought and paid for by workers comp. Little does he know I have already arranged with a different Dr regarding my condition.....he is paid to shut your claim down...
I am 84 years old and have had a few medical problems in my life. This was by far the worst doctor experience I have ever had. I have extensivce problems with my lumbar spine and all he did was point out previous surgeries and how any further surgery would be high risk. He didn't even recommend a mri to see what the present problem is. My past spine doctor who is now retired operated on me under the same conditions I have now and solved the problem which was a bad disc. I suspect there was a huge difference in skill levels based on my visit with Mienhardt
Worst experience ever! First, he insisted that I had a tumor. This because he never looked at the second MRI with contrast. All the while, belligerent and condescending. And when he finally did look, proceeded to tell me how complicated this surgery was and the vital organs that could be affected. Finally, he announced he had a flight to catch and simply left the room With me still sitting there. Don’t know how this man is a doctor.
I was in extreme pain when I went to see Dr. Meinhardt. He diagnosed my disc problem, got me in quickly for an MRI, and then surgery. He was decisive, confident and operated with a sense of urgency. SFD also has in-house physical therapy which was great. I could not be more pleased with the care I received from Dr. Meinhardt and his staff and feel very lucky to have found them.
Office removes all bad google reviews so check Health grades reviews to see how rude he is. I went to Dr. Meinhardt for my spine. It is messed up from the top to the bottom from scoliosis, a car accident (I had surgery and whiplash pretty bad). I am in pain all day everyday and I am young. I went to get my thoracic spine checked as I had a lot of pain there. I was asked by the practice to get my records for all my back imaging and surgery (which was on the lumbar spine). I asked the doctor if he looked at my records and he point blank said no. Why did I rush around to get them then???This entire appt with him was about five minutes give or take. I went to ask him a question about my C5, the vertebra above my T-1 and he said he would not answer it and I needed to make another appt with him to discuss the cervical spine! I told him, you really are not going to answer my question about my spine? You are a spine doctor? He point blank said no and was very rude. That is ridiculous. I came because I have pain up and down the entire spine but the middle part was the worst. You should be able to ask your SPINE doctor about ANY PART of your spine. I couldn't even ask a question, he had NO CLUE WHAT MY QUESTION WAS. How MONEY HUNGRY to make people make three separate appts with you to discuss the entire spine after only spending five minutes in my room. He is very arrogant. I think he forgets how many doctors appts people have, their work life, THE PAIN they are in and that it is a CHALLENGE for some to get to his office such as older people. He already has a bad reputation I am finding out from others I know in the ortho world after telling them my story yesterday which they were in disbelief about. This practice is amazing and everyone that works there is great. Be better doctor, drop your arrogant act and be compassionate. I'm glad I stood up for myself yesterday, you're ridiculous.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
