Dr. Cambridge is very matter-of-fact. Top of his profession as a neurologist!
Warning - Do not see this neurologist if you are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable physician. Dr. (if that is what we are supposed to call him) Cambridge is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He doesn’t listen at all and just wants to give you samples and send you on your way. I was at my wits end with the migraine pain and instead of listening to me, he got on the computer. With his back to me, I tried to get clarification about the medicine he was putting me on and instead of an explanation, I got a very rude, curt response. He then shoved the box of the sample in my face and said I could read about it if I wanted to. He never even bothered to ask me about my medical history or what meds I was taking. This neurologist does not care about his patients.
Once you have your appointment set the waiting time is not that long they're very polite, helpful and understanding of your situation I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a new doctor to treat them for epilepsy
The nurse that doctor Cambridge works with is amazing!! She is so kind and patient, Dr. Cambridge is very knowledgeable and very willing to help.
As others have noted, Dr. Cambridge's bedside manner is practically non-existent, as is his care for explaining anything from test results to what he is doing while performing a procedure. After putting me through two spine and neck MRI's, he didn't even go over the results with me, and almost seemed to laugh off a bulging disc saying "a lot of people have those." He performed an EMG on my legs and it was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced in a medical setting. He needed to perform the test on my legs to just above the knee. Rather than have me remove my jeans (not quite skinny but tapered) for the test, he had me hike my jeans up above my knee which was painful and restricting of itself. I believe he stuck a needle through my jeans above my knee, as my jeans could not go above the point where I felt the extreme pain. I ask if this amount of pain is normal for this test and he shrugged, "no, not really." After the test he tells me I could have a nerve disease or it could be nothing. He then said he needed to refer me to another doctors office "above his pay-grade" to do the same test he just performed. They gave me no contact information and sent me out the door. I never heard from them again except when they needed money. No medical follow-up of any kind. Stay away from this nightmare of a doctor and his office.
Daughter presented with stroke like symptoms. He ordered catscan and MRIs. Took 18 hours for him to show up to discuss. Terrible bedside manner. Said compared to 3rd world counties he thought it was good. I do not recommend him or Advent Health Winter Park if you have urgent neurology needs!
Don’t see him for stroke like symptoms. He is quick to order tests and slow to give results. Don’t recommend AdventHealth WinterPark. Worst hospital and Doctor experience we have ever had!
Wish I had listened to the bad reviews sooner! My Dad has Parkinson's and despite Dr. Cambridge's poor bedside manner, we didn't need a lot of management and I felt (at the time) that the nurse tried hard to make up for the lack of compassion. Last Fall, Dad's house flooded during hurricane Ian and we realized that we only had a couple days of his meds left. Stopping Parkinsons meds suddenly is not good for the person taking it. I called on a Friday morning first thing, the nurse told me she would have the doctor call in a refill that day. I stopped at the pharmacy at 4:45 p.m., nothing called in. I called the office and got the answering service, who said they would call somebody, but nobody got back to me. Though I called the answering service several times over the weekend, nobody ever called me back. By Monday morning, Dad had been off the medication for 24 hours. I called first thing in the morning again and the nurse said she would "get onto the doctor" to call it in....by the the end of Monday....STILL NOTHING! I couldn't believe it. I wasn't able to get a refill until Tuesday and only after calling in a state of near panic. By then my poor father was having anxiety attacks and seeing things, couldn't sleep. He was so frightened, gripping his wheelchair arms in constant agony. The nurse was useless, nice...but obviously unhelpful. We immediately canceled our appointment and changed doctors. Now, several months later, they send us a $25 no show bill. Please save yourself and your loved ones an awful experience and don't use this office. We found a neuro downtown who is wonderful. Night and day the difference. If you've gotten this far, you can find a better doctor.
Please read the reviews before booking with this office. That was my initial mistake. Everyone have their own opinions and experiences. I don't recommend this location for anyone under the age of 40 especially after going through a traumatic experience like a stroke. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the nurse was nice, not much help but nice.
My husband is exceptionally picky about doctors. He likes Dr. Cambridge and feels comfortable with him. The doctor goes out of his way to make sure to give the best care he can.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
