Sergio Menendez-Aponte's Online Review Report Card

I'll start by saying that I do not have a problem with my nurse practitioner. Whoever manages this office should not only be fired, but also barred from working in healthcare. There are so many problems, I don't no where to even start. Todays experience: This office tells you to call your pharmacy to have them send a request in for prescription refills. When I spoke with my pharmacy, they informed me that they have sent in two requests, both of which have gone unanswered. Okay, so let's call the doctor's office. They answer and after speaking two words, I am put on hold. They don't say please hold, they say nothing. This is normal behavior there and the person answering the phone has no business dealing with folks. After this, you sit on hold for so long it hangs up on you, or you're sent to leave a message. Sowhat should one do? Calling back is futile. If they answer, you don't get one word out, put on hold. I need my medicine. This is one instance. My experience with the staff here 9 of 10 times is absolutely terrible. I complained to my nurse practitioner once and the result was that I was to apologize to staff? What the actual what?! There have been so many mishaps. Sending in the wrong medication, time after time. Go to pick up blood pressure medication and they have Ivermectin waiting for you. What? Why? With all this said, there is noone to speak with to resolve these issues. I am lost at this point. I like my practitioner, but that's it. The bedside manner on top of all of this - rude, zero compassion, arrogant. Do yourself a favor and stay far from this place.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN THOUGH THE DRs ARE PROFESSIONALS THE OFFICE MANAGER ERASES ANY TRACE OF GOODNESS FROM THE PLACE! After 8 years as a patient with Dr. Menendez my relationship was abruptly disrupted by the office manager Andrea who basically called me a liar and even went as far as accusing the pharmacy where I get my prescriptions from (Walgreens) to have made changes to their "authorized" medicines. Very rudely she also left me waiting on the phone and then just hanged up on me without any further talk. She was very mean in her comments and disregarded any kind of understanding of my medical situation and diagnosis. Even after agreeing to pay the consult fee she continued to refuse help or provide any options to help me (referral or anything similar).

Very difficult to see the doctor, always pass you to a RN. The staff is highly rude, terrible service.

He's an excellent doc if you're lucky enough to see him. I went for 2 years and got stuck with a PA everytime! Moved on to a doc who's not just stuffing his pockets

Ótimo atendimento

Terrible experience. After waiting for 1.5hrs and seeing others being called within minutes from arrival, I’ve decided to leave to never come back. Very disorganized and disrespectful.

I have been with Dr Menendez over 20 years .Dr.Menendez is a great doctor that you don’t see anymore Dr Menendez also safe my life I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for his knowledge and great doctor that he is . Staff awesome

Always attentive to his patience

Hoy fue mi primera visita al consultorio, desde el primer momento muy buena atención, la Dra Ana paula Marcolina es la mejor , todo el personal fue muy amable definitivamente 5 estrellas. No importa si hablas portugués español o inglés de donde seas te harán sentir como en casa . Today was my first visit to the office, from the first moment very good attention, Dra Ana Paula Marcolina is the best, all the staff was very kind, definitely 5 stars. It doesn't matter if you speak Portuguese, Spanish or English, wherever you are from, they will make you feel at home.

I love DeAnna! She makes me feel comfortable to share my situation. Feels like a big sister.
