List of Shenin Sachedina's Reviews
After receiving an abnormal mammogram, I reached out to my doctor. She spoke about the high level of trust she had in Dr. Sachedina, D.O., FACOS. She said Dr. Sachedina takes great care of her patients, and she would not refer me to anyone else. I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly. I remember Dr. Sachedina greeting me and ‘educating me about my abnormal mammogram first.’ She focused on one wall chart that showed an expanded view of the breast lobe and she stepped me through where the abnormality was. My level of trust and confidence in Dr. Sachedina quickly grew and I knew why my doctor referred me to her. Dr. Sachedina calmed me down by explaining that people do not die from this, but I still had decisions to make and needed to understand the process. She provided me with a specialized care team, which included Dr. Sachedina, her staff, radiologists, oncologists, and a plastic surgeon. Anyone can understand the complexities of a treatment involving multiple doctors, at multiple locations over many weeks. Dr. Sachedina drove the process, at any sign of a scheduling delay, she stepped in. Any time I did not understand what was going on she explained it in a way I understood it. I truly appreciate her being my advocate! I have never had a doctor’s office or group of doctors, which worked together so collaboratively. Because of this care team, I was able to make an ‘informed decision.’ Dr. Sachedina is the founder of Ub3E. The purpose of this community is to collectively be able to engage, educate and empower people through this platform. She is the author of the ‘My Metu and Lee’ an educational series written for children to learn about cancer, breast cancer and leukemia. I am so blessed that I found Dr. Sachedina, she is the best and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I would like to review her, but I think I've only seen her for about 2 seconds out of the 20 times we've been there. She calls herself the great educator. I asked her a question. She told me not to do that. Her staff is incredibly incompetent. If you or a loved one has cancer, do not bring them to this facility, do not bring them to this doctor. Thank you for reading, have a blessed day.

Admin staff refused to call my new insurance provider to validate if I was covered for my appointment after my insurance changed in the new year. Before switching insurances, I confirmed with the insurance company that Dr. S's office was indeed covered. When I was questioned by the administrator, I was able to show proof on the insurance company website that Dr. S was in network. I was then told by the administrator that she would not call the insurance to validate due to it being Friday and wait times being too long. My options given to me at that point were to either reschedule my appointment or pay out of pocket. When I requested they call the insurance company, I was then told that the manager of the facility would not "be on hold for 3 hours on a Friday". No one ever called the insurance company. I called after leaving the office and was on hold for only 7 minutes before a rep got to me. They confirmed I was in network at this location after 10 minutes total research. I am baffled by the lack of care for me, my health, and my time by this staff. What a complete waste of my time. I will be finding a new provider and letting my referring physician know that this is how they treat patients.

I will most likely find a new provider due to this issue.

Mom is still suffering the pain she exacerbated! She took out drains way to early, after a mastectomy, and had to tap the breast with a needle every 3 days to remove almost 1 liter of fluid, because it was ready to burst! She was cold, unprofessional and incompetent. Our experience was horrible! When we bring up her name around town, we are surprised this woman still in practice!! Honey, if you are sick, I am praying for you, but based on our experience, I would not recommend this doctor.
Honestly, I would do my research before coming here. Health care providers and staff (Any medical professionals) should always treat their patients as if they were their own family member. (Next treatment/ only here for a paycheck) should not be tolerated by any patient. Anyone who decides to work in the medical field needs to respect and honor their line of work.
I’ve seen this doctor twice now and will not be seeing her again. I also was given four follow up appointments while I was there and scheduled for separate biopsy. I was told the insurance does not allow you to do both on the same day. They pushed genetic testing and only wanted me to get my MRI at a certain location. There billing practices seems like they are committing waste and abuse of my insurance. I do not recommend this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
