List of Sigfredo Aldarondo's Reviews
I LOVE DR. A! He was God sent I was in a confusing yet difficult health journey back in 2016 that had no answers and trips to Mayo clinic for answers. With him being added to the plethora of doctors I was seeing made my journey easier to navigate. He has always had my best interests at heart and he knows his stuff. I would recommend 1000 times for someone who is looking for a great pulmonalogist he's your guy. ~Antonia~
My first visit was in 2022 after I had a CT Scan show some issues. The Radiologist report and My Physician recommended following up with a Pulmonologist. At my first visit with Dr. Aldarondo he seemed to have an excellent bedside manner and was charming. However, he was evasive when I asked specific questions about the 2022 CT Scan and said to wait 1 year and have a follow-up CT Scan. One of the nodules was at size a biopsy or more evaluation was required. I scheduled the follow-up scan with Advent Imaging in Oviedo and they did not do a comparison as was order. I spoke with Advent Imaging 3 x prior to make sure they had the 2022 scans for comparison and they told me they had everything. I requested the radiologist do the comparison and he fired back with a one sentence addendum that did not even address the main concern mentioned on the 2022. I figured that Dr. Aldarondo would be able to show me 2022 and 2023 Scans and point out the most concerning nodule. He flips around on the screen and proceeds to look at corresponding pages (not the sections) and tells me that neither 2022 or 2023 Radiologist marked the images and that he did not see any of the images or nodules that were noted in the reports on either films. I ask him how that is possible and if he was looking at the page and section? He ignored me and said that they often confuse blood vessels for nodules. I explain to him that I still get winded and my blood oxygen is lower than ever before. My questions and concerns are being ignored and he couldn't show me any thing on the scans. So either both radiologist are wrong, or Dr. Aldarondo is wrong. Why if I never had any of the noted issues on the 2022 Scan did he subject me to all that unnecessary radiation of a Ct Scan? Cross talk and evasive not able to be specific not even on the largest nodule of concern. After I complained and made a review with Advents Portal. Then I read his medical notes. His medical notes were not as the appointment went and what he told me. What he wrote was not consistent with the appointment. He commented that I was nervous and than wrote several pages on dietary and weight loss information. Absolutely not why I saw a pulmonologist and he should know from the records his nurse confirmed with me that I have medication and being seen for treating high insulin & resistance. At 59, I didn't need this arrogant man or doctor ignoring the reason I was there. I left bewildered that everything he told me 1 year ago and the radiologist was now incorrect? You would expect that the specialist would be able to clearly point out on the 2022 and 2023 what the radiologist noted and compare and contrast and express why he feels differently. How ever his dietary plan of eating more vegetables is out of line. I needed him to know his area of specialty but he prefers lettuce to lungs.
Everyone here is caring and professional, I have been coming back for over a decade, and have wonderful care each time. I would consider no other.
You what is super annoying these days? When you call a doctor's office only to find out that you're really calling the scheduling hotline for Advent Health's pulmonology practice. If I wanted to go to Advent Health, I would call Advent Health.
Excellent Doctor. I have been a patient for 14 years, very concerned and helpful.
Dr. Aldarondo is truly the best. He has been so patient with this patient (me) and my frequent admissions for COPD and personal difficulties with transportation, etc. His bedside manner is serious, yet compassionate and he works with you as much as possible. His staff is professional and caring as well. Thank you so much Dr. A!
Canceled me because I wouldn't get vaccinated...felt let down...also felt pressure to get sleep apena treatment.....and not sympathetic to my medical concerns or own knowledge of my disease
I love this doctor the staff.
I have been under the care (for COPD) of Dr. Aldarondo for more than 8 years and have always found him to be caring, a very good listener, willing to try different approaches, good with follow up and overall a valuable resource in my medical arsenal.
I have been attended by Dr Sigfredo Aldarondo for about 2 years. When it comes to sleep Apnia, he is probably good. However, when asked about how he would treat a covid patient, his response is he would wait till the patient needs to be hospitalized and then treat with the CDC approved course. He empathetically refused to offer outpatient treatment as others have shown positive results. DO NO HARM.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
