List of Tyler Pickell's Reviews
Need to leave ZERO STARS for Tyler Pickell, with whom I had the worst experience of my life.
I didn't feel my concerns were heard by this doctor. There was no listening to me, and no answers to my questions. No explanation was given for what ended up being no treatment. I had to go elsewhere to be listened to and treated. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Would not listen to how I had been feeling, just brushed aside everything I said and barely looked at me before deciding there was nothing wrong with me. He kept saying odd things as if his mind was elsewhere. He said he was just out of residency and new, but then why didn't he get help? I felt really awful to be left untreated and I felt ignored. I just do not believe Dr. Tyler Pickell acted as a professional with me.
When I get ER treatment, I feel that a doctor should at a minimum listen to what symptoms I have been experiencing, especially over the course of worsening disease. I didn't experience that with Dr. Tyler Pickell. I got the opposite. And what little treatment I got was for symptoms I wasn't experiencing. But I didn't find that out until later, because Dr. Pickell did not answer questions or explain anything, despite my questions. Instead, he evaded the questions, and sent me home essentially without treatment. I certainly hope I never again experience such a lack of listening, understanding, communication, and lack of useful treatment as I experienced from Dr. Tyler Pickell.
Wouldn't listen to anything I said about my condition. Didn't ask questions, and wouldn't answer mine. In the end he gave no treatment while I kept suffering and got worse. Wish there was a way to give zero stars.
Tyler Pickell is a very poor listener. I felt ignored. My questions went unanswered. Just a bad experience. I hope Dr. Tyler Pickell is not always like this. Really the worst I've seen in many years.
In an ER visit, I literally left in WORSE CONDITION than when I arrived, from lower O2 sats to more labored breathing. I tried to provide my detailed patient history but he kept stopping me from telling him about my symptoms and he would interrupt with seemingly unrelated questions - or questions that assumed exactly the OPPOSITE of what I had just told him. Clearly not A1 in listening to patients. Later I read his notes, and he wrote nothing of my history, and in fact made statements opposite. And it was obvious things, like getting wrong the length of time for current symptoms. Actual exam was bare minimum and he would not give straight answers to questions about his treatment plan - which was, in reality, to NOT TREAT ME. Literally, no treatment received. I couldn't breathe and he said it'd pass. Basically sent me home to chicken soup, and a prescription to treat a symptom I didn't even have. Cannot recommend Dr. Tyler Pickell in any way based on this experience.
Prescribed medicine totally unrelated to my condition because he refused to listen to my description of the symptoms and asked similarly totally-unrelated questions. Some doctors are good listeners - Tyler Pickell is not one of them. Nothing worse than being ignored when you're really sick. Dr. Pickell doesn't appear to want to interact with patients, so why choose a team profession such as medicine? My advice: choose a DIFFERENT doctor.
Horrifying lack of treatment - left WORSE than I arrived by EVERY METRIC, from lower sAO2 sats to higher dysponea (more labored breathing). IGNORES PATIENT HISTORY - enters room with pre-conceived notion and keeps asking questions that CONTRADICT PATIENT HISTORY you've just given in detail. He has his own theory about you and anything that contradicts it, he simply fabricates. Kept asking: "it's a dry cough, right? dry cough? dry cough?" which it wasn't, to fit his theory. Later misrepresented this in notes, along with wrong length of onset, and IGNORING very detailed patient history re prior treatments. Does NO actual exam. Withholds results while you're there and HIDES FROM PATIENT his actual treatment plan which was, in reality, to toss me out of the ER after my O2 sats had CRASHED, which he accused me of manipulating (that'd be an impossible trick.) Worst provider in 60 years. AVOID TYLER W.PICKELL, OSTEOPATH. DO NOT CONSENT to "treatment" by TYLER PICKELL D.O. Avoid!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
