Excellent Dr

Have been a patient of Vanessa's for over 3 years. Was thoroughly impressed the first 2-3 visits. Since then, not so much. Ever since Covid, she either is overworked or no longer has interest in actually listening to, or treating, patients' concerns. She used to actually reach out to her patients, now not at all. Plus, last time I saw her, she seemed very distracted. I complained about a rash - she did not even look at it, let alone biopsy or try to diagnose what type of rash it might have been. Gave me a prescription that cost me over $125 copay (my copay is usually $10). Did nothing, but wasted time and money.

She is a very professional and a kindness person.

This review is being done via my husband. It took 1 year to get my first appointment. Previous appointments were cancelled several times. I had 1 appointment in the office, 2nd and 3rd appointment was done via video which did not work as the system could not connect. In my early conversations with the doctor she stated that she had no problem giving me the same amount of testosterone that I was currently getting from my oncologist doctor. After 1 year she cut my concentration in 1/2 and then the frequency by 75% with no reason or justification for her actions, not to mention she made these decisions with out a current blood test as the last one was dated 2 years back. Beware of the decisions that are made in regards to your health.

She is amazing . She takes the time with you to listen

I have seen Dr Jorge twice and am very impressed with her knowledge and caring for me as a patient. She took her time with me along with her staff.

made an appt. as a new patient, 3 months ago. Just got a call to say my appt for the 1st of the year has been cancelled and I can reschedule in June?? Who has no openings for 6 months? and why treat new patients this way? Very un happy.

Refused me a patient because I don't have health insurance even though I'm thoroughly capable of paying for office visit and any extras at the time of visit. I was referred by a friend to come to this doctor. Spent 3 hours of my time collectively & several phone calls all waiting on hold just to be told no. Their website doesn't indicate that they refuse self-pay patients. I hope they update it to reflect this. ( Their website address is mentioned while on hold about every 30 minutes. It's not a typical one and it redirects you to a different website.) Anyway, the best time to call seems to be around 3pm in case you would like to save yourself some hassle. That said, if I am calling my doctor when I am sick, I don't want to spend it on hold on and off for a day. Glad I'm not sick right now!
