She was incredibly intelligent and full of valuable information regarding my child's health and development, made the visit interactive not only for my daughter but for me as well. Our appointment began with Dr. Kinariwala opening a different child's chart and proceeding with approximately 1/3 of the exam before we realized her mistake. When we noted that our child seemed to be struggling to gain weight and asked about a food allergy, Dr. Kinariwala suggested we feed our child less to encourage them to eat more. While in Elizabeth City she was able to diagnose my son who had been misdiagnosed by several other doctors. She immediately took action which prompted my son to have an emergency surgery that saved his life. She also cared for my children far beyond coastal pediatrics, often going out of her way to speak to myself and my children when she saw us around town. She is caring and always treated my children as if they were one of her own.
