If I could give a -#, I would
Dr. Bauer did sinus surgery on me that has helped me with sinus infections, sleep apnea, as well as being able to sleep with both nostrils staying open. God has given him a gift and I had the pleasure of his being able to use it on me. I'll be forever grateful.
Extremely knowledgeable with a straight forward approach. Years and years of experience. Not about up charge , truly about the best medicine for you.
Dr Bauer did sinus surgery which changed my life and completely improved my quality of life I can never thank him enough! He was a miracle worker
This old quack needs to retire.
I've been a patient of Dr. Bauer for several years and have been extremely pleased with how well I'm taken care of. He is very professional and I leave his office with no more pain in my ears. He is an outstanding physician.
My son went to Dr Bauer as part of a workup for vertigo and balance issues. He is 51, on SS disability and has Medicare. The receptionist informed him that he had to pay $420 prior to the first visit. Is this a violation of Medicare rules? The Dr briefly examined him and did an xray. He was rude, disrespectful, dismissive and would not listen to the patient regarding previous related health issues. He did not provide adequate explanations or a plan for follow up. His diagnosis was wrong
My first sinus surgery was complicated by an accidental nick to the artery near the bridge of my nose. Scar tissue developed and blocked the sinus passage, causing me excruciating pain. A second surgery was necessary. Afterwards, my sinus became severely infected. It took many, many visits and a very high out-of-pocket amount to finally heal. My suggestion is that a person thinks twice before having sinus surgery.
If you are considering sinus surgery, think very carefully before you do it. I had a very bad experience and it had to be done twice. Dr. Bauer nicked the artery near the bridge of my nose and the scar tissue formed another blockage that had to be removed. I was in excruciating pain for months, my left sinus became seriously infected, and it took almost a year to recover. To add insult to injury, my medical bill kept getting racked up, in spite of the fact that I was in jeopardy of losing my job due to the severe sinus headaches I experienced daily. My insurance company paid and I still owed an additional $3500! Dr. Bauer turned me over to a collection agency. I don't personally dislike him, it's just that he admitted making a mistake and I was the one who had to pay for it! In retrospect, I wish I would not have had the surgery. I also wish I would have gotten a second opinion. Today I finally finished paying off the bill and I am extremely disappointed in my overall experience. I know Dr. Bauer did not do it on purpose, but I am still very upset that it affected me so adversely, both physically and financially. If I was a different kind of person, I might have sued him for malpractice...
Very knowledgeable and informative. Looking forward to getting my problems resolved.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
