Dr. Abhik visited me in St. Joseph main Hospital on April14, 2022 for hospital discharge day. He was not there for 30 minutes as stated on bill (he was only about 5 minutes in my room) . He was pleasant but no need for him to see me. I had already been discharged by my Physician treating me for the Watchman placement procedure done on April 14, 2022, There was no reason for him to even come into my room. The insurance is refusing to pay because I am allowed only one discharge physician visit . Dr. Abhik was the second visit and not necessary

It’s difficult to believe that this guy is really even a medical doctor. He comes across unknowledgeable and disinterested in his patients. He made 2 mistakes in 2 days when my dad was his patient in the hospital, and when we probed for more info from him , he became defensive and angry rather than apologetic or helpful. I’m not kidding when I say that he almost seems like somebody impersonating a doctor. Our suspicions were validated by a few of the nurses who work with him in the hospital

I would not recommend this doctor to any one. He did not seem to know anything about my husbands condition and was going to send him home on the second day at the hospital. We got another doctor in and he ran many tests and found out what was really wrong and he kept him in the hospital for five more days and treated him for a serious condition. Had him only in the hospital and would never have him as my doctor.
