List of Alicia Fierro's Reviews
Dr. Fierro diagnosed me. She has been on my side every step of the way! I can not thank her enough.
Dr. Fierro does an excellent job with patients. She is thorough and listens to the patient. I have NEVER had a rheumatologist who had such an efficient scheduling system. With other doctors we had to wait up to 2 hours. Dr. Fierro is prompt, and our wait time is always less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend Dr. Fierro.
Always so nice, helpful and supportive with everything. Easy to have a conversation with!

On my first visit I found the office staff to be efficient and friendly. The office has beach theme decorations that really gives you a more relaxed and upbeat feeling. I am still hopeful that Alicia will try to develop a rapport with me. She spent very little time with me even though it was an intake visit and the referral gave us 74 minutes. My SLE diagnosis has been repeatedly confirmed in the last 21 years but she told me my disease "sounded" like Fibromyalgia after speaking to me for less than 30 minutes. I was horrified. My diagnosis in 2001 came after 3 excruciating years of testing and I cannot go through that again. We did not talk about malar or linear rashes. We did not talk about sun exposure, recurrent unexplained fevers, hair loss, inflammation and depression, or sudden weight loss or gain. 40 minutes after I checked in I was sitting in my vehicle wondering what just happened. I'm going to the 2nd appointment hoping we will talk about the disease that changed my entire life.
This was my first visit and I was very hesitant to go. In the past doctors just brushed off my aches and pains and concerns but this group was very attentive and wonderful feedback. I thought the nurse was very thorough And she kept the conversation light & welcoming. Dr. Fierro was nice & had excellent patient/Dr interaction. Explaining different reasons for her further testing of issues. I chose. DO for the reason of getting to the source of my issue & not just treating symptoms with drugs. The staff was very accommodating & saw an opening in their MRI and I was able to walk across the hall & check one item of of my “list” of things to be done before my follow up in 2 weeks. The MRI technician was also very professional and explained what she was doing & why the dr would need the scan’s information. She also gave great praises to the rheumatologists on staff! Even the scheduling/front desk staff was amazing and helpful. Really nice to find medical personnel who seem truly interested in helping their patients & enjoy what they do.
Florida Medical Clinic seems to be the place to go for friendly, knowledge and good staffing. Had the same experience with Dr. Fierro last week. She was friendly, listened to my situation and acted accordingly. Trusted her opinion and results with medications. My GI doctor Dr. Gilbert and Internist Dr. White are also great doctors.
She spends time explaining. She takes all into account. Two very hard to find qualities in the medical profession. Understand, due to above may be running late. What she does is try to find the needle in a very large ocean. Sometimes the routes to such answer takes a few options, but she does NOT GIVE UP.
Wonderful and kind. Dr. Fierro was able to diagnose and treat my mild form of lupus when others had failed. My life has improved 100% since I started going to her 4 years ago!
Dr Fierro is a very kind and passionate doctor. She really listens to me and explains everything to where I can understand.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
