I had a fall & went by ambulance to Methodist Richardson. The Dr said that there was nothing wrong with me. He Gave me print outs of sciatic exercises to do & that I needed to get up and out of the bed for Covid patients. Turns out I had 4 broken spinal disks and my abdominal wall had collapsed. I’ve since had emergency surgery on my abdomen and spinal fusion on my spine. This dr was the rudest most insensitive person I have ever met!!!!

BEWARE OF THIS DR!!!! I had a mole removed by Dr Rutherford. The incision was much larger than it needed to be and the stitches did not hold together properly. At a later follow up another dr told me the procedure had been completely unnecessary and done incorrectly. Dr R. charged my insurance for a cancerous removal in my mouth. The mole was benign and on my back!! He also entered info about my conditions that was completely wrong and lost my husband's medical history. BEWARE!

Dr Andrew Rutherford is very thorough & his medical knowledge is vast & current/cutting edge. He is down to earth-an excellent listener. I have been at Mayo Clinic; I was grateful Dr Rutherford was/is abreast on very advanced, specialized & rare medical issues, diagnosis & treatment. I highly recommend him-especially to those whom need a local MD to be your local MD & liaison with a major Clinic/Trearnent center!

Dr. Rutherford is a very caring physician who sees the entire person, not just a patient or a symptom. He has left he former medical group, and I will greatly miss him. I felt as though I were in good hands while under his care.
