Coast Dental's Online Review Report Card

I'm not even sure if I should give a 1 star, how are you all, so unprofessional. Why would you wait until someone get to an appointment to say there's a fee! It doesn't make a patient trust anymore than they already don't. Just being very straightforward and honest Why waste your time and the time of your patients. Some people will get angry just cause you did it like that. People feel set up from the start. It's not ok!

Office was not too full. I arrived as an emergency visit. They took me right in, after a short wait of 25-20 min. I tried calling but got nowhere. The first call went dead after a 20 min wait. The second call was on hold for another 20 min. I just drove right to the office without appointment.

Since it is the end of the year, I wanted to make sure I used my dental benefits. Coast is in my insurance network. During the new patient Xray, I was asked for my payment method because the insurance company did not cover their "mandatory" cancer screening. $92 later I was sitting in the dental chair awaiting my cleaning. 2 people were in the room; I could not tell you their names, as they didn't even share their names. After a brief exam, I was told by the lady in the room that my cleaning was going to cost $500 (minimum). When she asked how I wanted to pay, I asked if my insurance company covered it. In her words "they are already giving you the biggest discount." She was, at the very least, misleading. After contacting my insurance company, I was informed that I could have denied the cancer screening and the deep cleaning. The insurance company would have covered the regular cleaning and exam. If you go, be prepared to meet medical up charge sales.

Zero star very rude. Keep stating that I don't have insurance when my insurance is saying I have insurance my employer is saying I have insurance but they're insisting I don't have it do not go there. This is why I don't go anywhere in Zephyrhills.

I have dental anxiety from this place ONLY and this place is horrible. They will shame you if you cannot pay what they want you to pay at time of services. They will try to charge you $77 for a visit you never even made! They will tell you that you need a crown when in reality you just need a filling, but they want to make a profit off of you. Please don’t go here and instead go to premier or anywhere else.

Coastal dental really is a wonderful dentist. Ms. Margie has been with me through a lot of the process of getting my teeth fixed, and she is absolutely kind, patient, and caring. I always look forward to seeing her at my visit. The dentist here really are awesome and they care about their patients. I would highly advise coming here, they have taken great care of me!

Efficient, caring, professional as one would expect from a dental office.

I have been going there the past 2 yrs and everytime I have been charged for the visit. This last visit I was told that I still have benefits.Well I just received a letter from the insurance company saying there were no more benefits and showing a bill for $935.92 And also they informed me that there was no proposed treatment plan submitted.The receipt that I received from the dentist office is showing a subtotal of $307.00 insurance $179.00 and pat.$128.00 which I paid that day.How did it go from the amount of $307 to $935 ? I will never use them again.

Everyone is friendly and professional. The office is clean and feels like sitting at home in the waiting room watching TV.

I want to thank the entire staff at Coast dental but I special thanks to Dr Gheith and Terrell they took there time with knowing that I was super scared they saved my birthday and Christmas. I would recommend them to anybody. So happy to be able to smile again. THANKS
