If you're looking for an eye doctor's office that doesn't answer the phone, doesn't return the messages and doesn't care if you're seeing floaters, the Florida Eye clinic in College Park is your choice. If you're looking for a doctor's office that's responsive to your needs, don't count on this office. I was a patient for a decade and couldn't get any help. Moving on.

Spouse had a colonoscopy. Left waiting for two hours without knowing how behind they were. Did not let family come back even after the procedure. She was coming out of anesthesia and could t even let me there to hear results. Disgusted with this facility.

Absolutely avoid this practice. My experience here has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The staff is disorganized, the communication is terrible, and they seem completely out of touch with how to run a competent medical office. They require in-person visits for every minor issue, just to bill you, but then fail to follow through on treatment plans, lab orders, or basic next steps. Every visit feels like a money grab — you’re forced to come back repeatedly because they don’t get it right the first time, and still nothing gets resolved. Whether it’s intentional or just sheer incompetence, the result is the same: wasted time, wasted money, and no real care. I’ve never felt more unheard or dismissed by a healthcare provider. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. This place is a mess.

I went to the eye clinic on 345 Michigan,Orlando and saw Dr. David Stephen Latbetter. He gave me Rx for Antibiotics( hoping that the problem will go away in my eye). However, apparently it didn't. Antibiotics made me sick,and the problem is the same. He had to do an incision and clean an infection in the first place, and THEN prescribe me Antibiotics, however apparently he feels uncomfortable to do such procedures, that is WHY my problem still wasn't resolved for 10 days already!! Let me mention how this office work in such "difficult" cases when doctors can't handle patients(may be because of a lack of knowledge or lack of doctor's responsibilities and dignity!). When I called about the problem they didn't call me back(such unprofessional). I posted a request for an appt. on their website, then they called me back. When I came for an appt. expecting doctor's help , the upfront employee told me that they have a problem with a bathroom, and it will take all day to fix it today (Friday). WOW! How do they want me to believe it?? She offered "uncertain" appointments in the "future" probably next week(when I have a current problem NOW!), and I saw that she wasn't honest to me. Yeah. That is how they kick patients out with untreated problems to ER? Well. I AM NOT going to ER!!! They are expensive,I can't afford them. If my eye is WORSE, then we will talk about malpractice issues in that office regarding my case.......I also wanted to add one thing. Dr. Latbetter mentioned that I had "an early cataract". COME ON, doctor. This is BS. I check my eyes at Optometrist offices every 2 years for YEARS in Orlando!!! Nobody told me EVER that I would have this problem. Good eyes. All of my ancestors had good eyes, nobody was blind, Dr.Latbetter! Is that how you try to "sign in" patients for unnecessary surgeries in "future"?Is that how "patients base" GROW in your company?? Wow. Just unpleasantly surprised.

Just wanted to send a quick note to say how incredibly grateful I am for Dr. Ledbetter's amazing care over the past ten years! He's been such a calming presence, always professional but also so incredibly kind. It's made going to the doctor so much easier, knowing I can trust him completely. He really makes you feel like he values you as a person, and a patient - and that means a lot. Plus, the guy is seriously brilliant! His knowledge and expertise have been a lifesaver. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hicks for about five years. I first started seeing her at the Forecare facility in Tampa, and when she moved to Florida Medical Clinic, I immediately followed her. She has always been professional, patient, and takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly. Her bedside manner is excellent. However, I’m writing this review based on the service I received at the Zephyrhills location — which was the worst healthcare experience I’ve ever had. The experience with the office staff was disappointing and stressful — especially at a time when I was in pain and seeking help. I truly hope this location improves their communication and patient care moving forward. I won’t be back to this location.

It is rare to see a physician. PA’s and Nurse Practitioners treat you. My care with Dr. Kamath as my primary care physician was poor.

1/18/25 I had Ptosis surgery with upper and lower Blepharoplasty performed by Dr. James Jochum on November 1, 2023. The surgery performed on my left eye did not go well. Five (5) months after surgery, I still had a lot of discomfort in the left eye, including blurry vision, swelling, cannot close or open my eye completely, in the corner of the eye the skin is pulled and scarred, sensation like a specific of dirt is in my eye, eye is worn out at the end of the work day, small raised bump at the outer edge of the eye, and my eyes are now visibly asymmetrical. I had to completely stop driving at night for many months due to the blurriness and other issues I suffered to my left eye after surgery. I question whether ptosis surgery was truly necessary as I had no loss of peripheral vision and my vision before the surgery was better/clearer than it is today. I was told by Dr. Jochum that this was a common procedure, obviously that is not true. Dr. Yochum is not an Oculoplastic Surgeon and he is not a Plastic Surgeon who specializes in ptosis surgery. It has now been thirteen (13) months after surgery, and I am looking for a surgeon who can correct the problems that I continue to suffer in my left eye.

Awful experience, tried to call for an appointment and the receptionist was very rude. Told me I needed a referral for my PPO plan which is entirely inaccurate. I work in health insurance and told her that I don't need a referral. She continued to argue with me. I asked her to call my insurance to verify and she said I can't do that. She definitely can but just didn't want to. I asked to speak to someone more experienced and she blind transferred me to someone's voicemail. I don't know if she was new or just inexperienced but I definitely shouldn't have been treated that way. If she had questions, she could have just asked another employee instead of basically hanging up on me and refusing to help.
