I only gave one star just because someone answered the phone. I made an appointment for Martha to go out to my 92 year old who lives alone. Dad has Congestive Heart Failure & blood cancer. He recently signed up with Hospice & they are doing wonderful helping him! We need someone to do light chores & heat him up a dinner/ sandwich here or there. I called, spoke & made a appointment with Martha to go out to his home. I said to Martha, I will be paying for the service & doing all his scheduling. Martha said she can take my payment over the phone & email paperwork. My Dad cannot afford this service. Martha came to his home, had him sign paperwork, took his credit card information & scheduled her dates for them to come out? Never called me! I had to call 4 times to get a hold of her after she left my Dads home. My Dad was confused! He didn’t understand how much this will cost or what he signed! Then speaking with her about my concerns & not happy how this interview went with my Dad. Martha hung up on me after I told her we don’t want you coming back out, don’t run his credit card.... the trust was broken for them to help my Dad. Seems it was all about the money not my Dad. I also felt she tried to go over my head to get him signed up & took his credit card information without talking to me as we first agreed when I called her! Was Dad easy bait? A old sick 92 year old man alone!

Amanda Brown is an amazingly caring , diligent and professional caregiver! I feel so comfortable knowing Amanda will be taking care of my stepmom. Home Instead is so lucky to have her. She goes above what is asked of her.

The ladies they've assigned to me have been prompt, eager to learn my needs, and caring, as though I were their grandfather. Having ms and it's progressive nature, I am unable to get out of bed unassisted, which leaves me totally dependent on my caregiver. Home Instead conducted a virtual home visit to see the equipment I have to assist the caregiver, to learn my needs, and to determine which staff members to send. I'm very happy with Home Instead thus far.

I honestly can say that this is the nest home care office i dealt with for my mom. she loves them. she was always complaining about her caregivers until we switched over to home instead in Zephyrhills/Wesley chapel . thank you

The companion for my dad is Rachel. I love that she is sincerely concerned about him and the other patients and she encourages the staff to get him out of bed, walks him around the facility, and takes him to do exercises. These aren't things I asked her to do, but they're extra steps she takes that goes beyond just sitting with him as my dad isn't very talkative. She takes him to play bingo and prompts him to get involved in other activities. I decided to take my dad, who's a double amputee vet, on a boating trip and needed assistance as I'm a female flying solo. She was soooo helpful and more than anything, I just love her big heart. With me being in the military, I was so concerned I might deploy and not have someone who was familiar w/ my dad to keep me up to speed on how he's doing and concerns at the facility but w/ Rachel, I have a peace about leaving him because I know she's going to look out for his best interest and the support she provides helps the facility he's in provide a higher level of support as well.

I needed care for my mom after two falls and so I reached out the Home Instead and what a great decision. They were out the very next day, did the assessment and had someone for us the next day. Katrina was the lucky lady and I should really say we were the lucky ones. She took such great care of mom. Having to leave your mom in the care of someone, it can be a little unnerving - but after the first day I knew she was in good hands. I knew mom was taken care of and that security/trust mean millions to me. So if you ever need care for your loved one, this is the place to go. The office staff, Kim - Michelle - Barry - are also great! I would highly recommend them. Michelle also went out of her way to get mom a bedside potty so that she could get up on her own during the night! Love them all!
