Julio Gonzalez Paoli's Online Review Report Card

The office staff was wonderful and helped to identify a new doctor after Dr Gonzalez-Paoli declined to accept me as a patient cancelling an appointment that was on his books for three weeks because of the old boys network...since I preferred not to work with Dr Sikes, Dr Gonzales-Paola did not take me. I should have the freedom to select my medical care provider without fear of being iced out by the old boys network. Thank God that there are other providers that value the patient experience and honor their oath to provide care without prejudice. I will be report both doctors to Cigna.

Dr Gonzales is an excellent Rheumatologist. He is patient and genuinely concerned about our health. My sister and I drive from St Petersburg to Tampa because he is the best.

Dr. Gonzalez-Paoli is patient and a good listener. He is thorough and asks the kind of questions to get to the heart of your concerns.

Dr. Gonzalez gave me hope when I had none. He diagnosed me quickly, explained everything so that I understood, gave me information, and he worked with me on my wellness plan. He continues to monitor my disease and keeps me on track.

I was referred by a coworker whose opinion I value. At first, he seemed knowledgeable and would get my care underway. That quickly went by the wayside. I experienced one flare up after another. I continued to call the office for help with the pain and swelling in my joints. After 3 Medrol Dose Packs, they tried Prednisone 20mg for 1 week. I've seen this doctor for 6 months and my condition continues to decline. I had to fire him. He's had enough time.

An excellent doctor, and professional. I have been seeing him for more than 6 years, and have no problems. He is great.

Dr. Gonzalez was on call at Englewood Community Hospital a week ago when i broke my arm badly after an accidental fall. He was utterly professional even when I was querulous. He arranged for my surgery that Sunday evening and released me the next day. His staff made an appointment for me in his Venice office five days later; and they were excellent in accommodating me during that follow-up visit. They were helpful beyond measure with my insurance company (out of network) and fitting a brace.

I love going to see Dr.Gonzalez even though I am not getting better. I am a teacher and it is hard for me to take time to go to my appointments and sometimes I miss my appointments and I can tell the office staff and the nurse get frustrated.
