Going to an OB is a sensitive situation for most women it’s uncomfortable and embarrassing. However, this particular doctor is ice cold he’s like a cyborg he has no personality a completely inflated sense of self. He talks to you like he’s dictating to a wall. There is no care or helpful guidance involved during the visit. He seems to have a pretty big ego extremely unfriendly to the point where I had to hold back from telling him to stop being so rude. I get it, he’s been doing it so long that he’s completely complacent and does things robotically with zero care as if he’s going to be perfect. I wouldn't recommend him to examine a Cabbage Patch doll. He is awful rude condescending. He seems bitter and häteful. He’s definitely only in it for the money. there is zero care involved. I had some issues with my Pap and was not notified. My primary had to get the results for me and I wound up needing a hysterectomy with another doctor, of course. HE SHOULD LOSE HIS MEDICAL LICENSE.
Had my first OB appointment with him today. The appointment was very rushed. I was supposed to have blood work done and it was not done and was also supposed to have an ultrasound to date my pregnancy. He spent not even a minute doing the ultrasound, literally not even a minute, and told me he couldn't see what he needed and was going to refer me to the hospital for an ultrasound. He was not attentive, he made the whole appointment feel rushed. I ended up asking the front desk to schedule me with a different doctor my next appointment.
Wait time was horrible, each appointment I had to wait an hour to go to the back than another hour to be seen by the doctor. He came in & was very brief like literally in there for 3 minutes tops doing a pap, he didn’t introduce his self plus he give me the wrong due date the ultrasound technician had to correct him for his mistake.
He just came in. No introduction. No interest or understanding. He did not use new clean gloves. I had to ask him.

Dr Weiss delivered two of my daughters in 2007 and 2009. He was very attentive and had a great bedside manner.
Just moved to the area and had my first OB appointment with him. Awful. voiced my concerns about having a PAP done and he zoomed through it, didn’t even speak to me during or after. Asked if there was any scaring and he said “I don’t really know, I didn’t get a look” because of me being “frantic”. I’m sitting there in tears and he doesn’t say anything to me just tells me to go get my blood work then leaves. Horrible experience. Changing doctors.
I told him from day 1 that I was high risk and needed a medicine to prevent complications during pregnancy (this medication was recommended by a hematologist). He never addressed the high risk status or medicine rec until after I miscarried. I went through an entire pregnancy and miscarriage without speaking a single word directly to him, as he doesn't talk to patients on the phone and he never scheduled an appt with me despite me reminding his staff on the phone multiple times of my status and needs. Later, he said that I should have come in a talked to him if I wanted the medication. I had asked to see him but kept being told to wait until 8 weeks or 5000 hcg, which is for normal pregnancies, not high risk ones. If you expect to have 0 complications and be a run of the mill healthy pregnancy, he might be able to help you. However, if you have anything you're worried about specifically, don't expect him to be worried about it as well.
I chose him as my doctor when I found out I was expecting. At first, I had no issue with the practice. The staff was kind and courteous. But once I started having issues, they were not being addressed. My blood pressure was high and he literally did nothing about it. He spent no time at all talking to me or my husband and seemed uninterested in hearing my questions or concerns. I would never recommend him to ANYONE. Hopefully the ladies working there can find a better doctor to work with, because he is awful. Once I switched doctors, I found out I had gestational hypertension and was put on strict bed rest immediately. Dr. Weiss would have never caught that (or cared) and would have put my baby's life in danger.
At my follow-up exam all OB-GYN M. Weiss took time for was asking for my general health feedback to record notes. He or his nurse never asked me to disrobe for a vaginal or uterine exam. Three months after delivering our baby girl I was told by another OB-GYN that I have a large polyp on my uterine lining that he probably would have detected. From our experience he’s more interested in taking notes on his tablet than conducting an exam. At this & another app’t. we waited > 50 mins. for him & he offered no apologies. His gruff, unprofessional tone replies to ?s was unexpected. You & we deserved better & wish we had another opportunity to complete his care survey the hospital sent. We’d. give him 1/2 star which he’d surely laugh off with his gruff attitude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
