List of Prakashkumar NAGINDAS Patel's Reviews
recently visited Dr. Patel's practice for a medical procedure, and I must say that it was an absolute nightmare. The incompetence and lack of knowledge displayed by both Dr. Patel and their staff when it came to dealing with insurance matters were truly mind-boggling. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the practice had no idea how to handle insurance claims. They seemed utterly clueless about the basic processes and requirements. Their staff appeared confused and untrained, unable to provide any helpful information or guidance. It felt like they were just winging it and hoping for the best. The nightmare continued when it came time to discuss coverage and payment options. Dr. Patel's practice was completely unprepared to navigate the complexities of insurance policies. They were unable to verify my coverage or provide an accurate estimate of costs. I was left in the dark, unsure of what expenses I would be responsible for and what would be covered by my insurance. It almost appeared to be intentional to charge extra for what the insurance does not pay. When I sought clarification and asked for assistance, the response was frustratingly vague and unhelpful. It was as if they had no interest in ensuring their patients understood their financial obligations or exploring possible alternatives. Their lack of professionalism and accountability was deeply disappointing. Overall, my experience with Dr. Patel and their practice was a disastrous one. Their complete lack of understanding and ineptitude in dealing with insurance matters left me frustrated, confused, and burdened with unexpected financial obligations. I would strongly advise anyone seeking medical care to steer clear of this practice unless they have a deep well of patience and an abundance of time to waste.

His office is Sunrise Neurology, he is the only DR there. While waiting for my appointment, the receptionist said "If you don't understand something ask a question". I thought to myself - A dr that listens - NOPE! he told me, "No doctor has time to look at findings or others dr's notes, we look at diagnosis-The bottom line!" "I've treated 1000s of stroke patients - we have proto-calls, If you don't trust how I'm treating you then leave my office and go back to your primary"

Highly don't recommend to anyone. Was asked to bring in all records on paper & meds because they don't look at disks. Dr Patel didn't even look at the meds & skimmed thru some of the records quickly, while stating my dad can't communicate well but wouldn't let us speak for my dad. Called my sister rude. Asked my dad if he had life insurance, that he should get it & also told him he needs to change his insurance to Medicare that his primary Dr is out for money that's why we aren't getting the answers we need, that his primary Dr told him that my dad had a stroke. My dads never had a stroke. Rushed us. We were there to get his head symptoms checked out, never even looked at his head. Talked over us. Stated he needed certain info that was on the records if he took the time to read it. He didn't take the time like a real dr would. He was "running behind schedule". He also prescribed meds that shouldn't be mixed with high blood pressure meds, he would of known that if he looked thru my dads meds. I would give a 0 rating if available. Waste of time.
If I could give a -1 I would. Horrible bedside manners. This has been one of my worst appointments with drs. I waited over 30 min to be seen. Since I was a new patient I was expecting a through consultation. It took less than 12 min for Dr. Patel to dismiss me. He would not answer many of my questions. I brought this to his attention and he said he was a busy dr with emergency calls anytime. While I understand this, I also understand that he has a practice and if he can't listen to patients he should not be taking any and stick to emergency calls. Above all this, my clinical report stated that he saw me for 45 min and he had gone through everything in detail with patient. This is completely false. If anything helps, the receptionist was very kind and respectful but he was rude and arrogant. His time is precious but so it's mine.
My companion went for one visit only, he was rude and insulting. Never again
Very detailed and took time to explain everything. This Dr. is truly amazing!
On time always no wait
Rude, rude, rude! The doctor should see a real neurologist to get help with his hang ups!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
