List of Ralph Highshaw's Reviews
Saw doc in Pensacola office. Explained my surgery and all options available to me. Dr Highshaw did my surgery as explained took excellent care of me. Recovery was fast When I went back to office I found out Dr Highshaw may not be returning to Pensacola office. I’ve been trying to see if he’s at another office in Pensacola He’s a great doctor I was very lucky to have him do my surgery
Met Dr Highshaw in the Pensacola office. Explained my husbands options with patience did not rush us out. Answered every question
Best doctor Too bad. He is not around anymore
First visit with Dr, Highshaw, totally professional and very easy to talk to and he took time to explain to me, now the front desk is horrible, over worked or she just needs help, called office and she put me on hold twice for 15 minutes and not even coming back on line to apologize or to see if I was still holding.nothing personal to that lady but she needs help
My primary care physician sent me to Dr Highshaw at Wesley Chapel Hospital. First admitted as end stage renal failure with terrible labs, Dr Highshaw treated me aggressively with compassionate care. Released 9 days later with very good labs and after several follow-up visits have no remaining problems related to this condition. I've seen some remarks claiming he took patients' concerns not seriously and poor bedside manner, but from my experience they mistook his trying to keep a positive attitude as a lack of concern. While I hope to never have a repeat of this problem, if I do I'll return to Dr Highshaw without a doubt.
Excellent caring doctor he thanks a million
Dr. Highshaw is rude and shouldn't be a doctor! I went to him to talk about ED. He automatically dismissed my concerns and sent me packing! I went to another doctor at USF and they found a low testosterone level! He should be ashamed of himself for acting like I was as waste of his time!
Dr. Highshaw took excellent care of me. I had a huge kidney stone that needed immediate attention and Dr. Highshaw made sure to get me in to have surgery ASAP. This man has excellent bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. His staff is just as wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Highshaw.
Dr. Highshaw is very rude and uncaring! I came to him with a very real aconcern about ED. He immediately dismissed my concerns and told me I wasn't turned on enough! He didn't do anything whatsoever and sent me packing! I went to another doctor at USF and they found that I have low testosterone! It was a TOTAL waste of time and $50 seeing him! I had high hopes that he could help me (especially because my fiance works for Advent Health) and I was VERY disappointed! Apparently Advent Health doesn't care who they hire! smh
I saw him with concerns about ED. I have been having issues all of my life. I am unable to orgasm normally. (Please excuse the details)....but....I am unable to even maasturbate normally! He immediately made up his mind that my problem is that I'm not turned on enough and that couldn't be any further from the truth! He just completely dismissed my concerns and told me I just wasn't turned on enough! He was VERY rude! I went to someone else at USF and they found out that my testosterone level is pretty low and I will be starting medication that will hopefully help. Dr. Highshaw needs to go to manners school! He also needs to take several steps back and reevaluate how he treats his patients! It's ridiculous to just dismissed your patients concerns like that! It's doctors like him that make all doctors look really bad!!!! ??

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
