List of Ramanath Rao's Reviews
He was a referral from my primary doctor. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything and listened to what I had to say. He told me what will happen next for testing and so on. He seemed to care and even took the time to listen to me. His staff was fantastic! I Love the girls at the front desk. They were all friendly.
Horrible office staff. As another medical professional I cannot BELIEVE the rudeness (when they do answer) and lack of anyone even bothering to answer a phone in this office. As a provider who deals with the HEART I think that you should really re-think who you employ. This is going to cost you a lot of lawsuits.
My son had a new patient appointment with Dr. Rao on 9/20/22. A holter monitor without wires was ordered by Dr. Rao at the time of visit. As of 11/4/22 still have not even ordered this monitor and now the staff is saying they have to get approval from Dr. Rao because he doesn't like ordering the non wire monitors. The staff was supposed to speak with Dr. Rao at a meeting on 10/31, but my son's holter monitor wasn't addressed because per staff he only wanted to discuss the urgent stuff. I have decided to find a Cardiologist that actually cares for the patients enough to make sure these test get completed in a timely manner. I would think that anyone that goes to a cardiologist has "urgent" problems. I would not recommend this doctor if you have any issues that are serious as you'll be waiting forever to get testing completed.
Dr. Rao has been my cardiologist since 2005. I trust him completely with my heart. I wouldn’t consider going to any other cardiologist. He is so caring and explains everything I need to know. He spends all the time you need, so it’s important for you to understand why you must wait sometimes. He is worth the wait.
Dr.Rao is a outstanding cardiologist,I would not be here if it wasn't for him.He simply is the best!
Dr. Rao is an excellent cardiologist,he is wonderful to deal with. He listens to you and takes time to make the best decisions for your health. We have gone to him since 1997. His background speaks for itself he is very well qualified and we feel that he's the BEST Dr. we have ever gone to. He has saved my husbands life a few times. What a wonderful Dr. Sincerely,Karen McCabe
Takes at least 3 months to get an appointment scheduled or hear back. There is NO FOLLOW UP. The patient is expected to do everything. Patients can literally die waiting to be seen. Left overall feeling of fraud operation.
If you are looking for one of the best in the Cardiology field, then look no farther than Dr. Rao. He has been my doctor since 2005 an if it had not been for him, I may not be here today. He spends all the time needed with his patients, which means other patients may have an extended wait time to see him, but I and others I have talked with do not mind the wait. Sometimes an hour to two hours after appointment time.
Dr Rao is very sensitive to the feelings of his patients. He listens to you completely and listens to your symptoms before he starts any type of examination. He explains health issues in a way that a layman can grasp the meaning.
Excellent bedside manner. Treats you as if you are his only patient. Excellent discussions of diagnoses and treatment plan. Genuinely concerned about his patients. Very thorough

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
