Resham Datta's Online Review Report Card

Dr Datta is the most compassionate pain interventionist you could ask for. She was my Dr for 3 or 4 years and I never had an issue at all. I don’t know what happened, why Dr Datta is gone and I am extremely upset that no one is willing to give her patients any info whatsoever. I feel that is totally wrong.

I found Dr. Datta to be caring, gentle and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Transitioning from Non-Interventional pain management care to Interventional Pain management was a big step for me. I was blessed to have been referred to Dr. Datta for that care. After a few visits, I wondered what took me so long to take that next step. Since moving out of her area, I have not encountered any pain management physicians with her level of care or expertise. Dr. Datta is detail oriented and compassionate. The field of pain management lacks empathy and compassion for those in chronic intractable pain. Simple things like using freezing spray before injections, or numbing gel were standard procedure when I was under her care. The two practices I have been working with since my move have not used those, nor had them available for my comfort when I requested them. Dr. Datta is an Ideal example of how best to effectively care for patients with chronic, severe pain.

WHERE IS DR.DATTA? I called for an appointment and learned that she’s “no longer here” - along with Zephyrhills office is closed?

I loved Dr Data! Was pain free totally for 3 months after my first SI injection. Went back n and she was gone! The Dr who did my injection that time would not get a good review at all! I would love to know where she went!

Dr. Datta is a very caring doctor who took her time to listen and figure out what the issues were. I had been a patient of hers and learned she was no longer with Florida Medical. It was very upsetting and a great loss. I have also wondered if anyone knew where she went….

I’ve been seeing Dr Datta for a few years now. However when I showed up to my appointment yesterday I was informed by the staff she is no longer there & her whereabouts are unknown. Anyone know where she is??

Dr. was informed that pt was allergic to cortisone/steroid and knew pt was hesitant about any injection due to multiple medication allergies. She agreed to a caudal injection for pain with what pt thought was a simple pain anesthetic. At home she became asthmatic, in the evening. By the next day she was on a nebulizer for 1 wk.... Told Dr. she needed to listen to pts who have had allergies since pt was 11. There is an extensive list of allergies in pt charts as well as intolerance of medications. Pt complained to PCP and allergist regarding problem. Dr. needs to pay attention to pt. history and listen to her patients.

Worst pain management dr.I have seen in 12 years of pain management.BEWARE of this Dr. She does not read nor believe patients statement of allergies and so gave me iodine and cortisone injection which I expressly told her I was allergic to and was in my ,not to. I have an allergist and am allergic to many medications. She does not listen to patients, and thinks she knows all, does not read charts nor medical history.

Great listener, takes care of your pain mgt needs. She was simply one of the loveliest and most skillful Doctor I've ever met. Her replacement NP Gloria was horrible. I reached a brick wall with Glorida when I needed to try different, replacement medications. Did not blink an eye when I said for the last two weeks I fell down, and one day fell down 3x due to severe pain/stiffness in my lower spine. Med "L" was not working but she said there wasn't a better or different replacement. Now I am left without any nerve pain med whatsoever and I am still falling down. It was a nightmare. I hope to God, Dr. Datta receives this message.
