Very happy with Dr Nagamia, he was wonderful with my mother and now with me. He listens to me carefully, has appropriate tests performed, discusses the results and plans an agreed upon course of action. He and his staff have always been there when I needed them. I would never go anywhere else.

Dr Nagamia has been my cardiologist for 5 years. He actually listens to my concerns and is willing to take the time to understand the path that I want to take with my health. During my appointments he has always done thorough assessments and wants to be sure that I understand what his concerns and recommendations are. His knowledge as a cardiologist along with his years of experience are what give me confidence when he makes a recommendation. His staff is very helpful and I appreciate how patient everyone in the office is.

This review reflects on the office staff, not the Dr. necessarily. Called on 10/26/2022 and waited on hold (with hold message saying I was first in line). The ring back would happen and I was put on hold again each time saying I was first in line. I waited 20 minutes with this happening until someone picked up and the call was disconnected. I need to confirm my appointments for my mother because she has two appointments within a week written down. I dont trust that if I leave a message anyone will call me back since they don't seem to have phone coverage in the office. I called back and holding at another 9 minutes currently experiencing the same loop of being placed on hold. I don't mind waiting because I know there are patients in the office, but I am waiting in line with them. It should be my turn at some point. I doubt you would have a patient waiting over 20 minutes at your check out desk for this long. I hope someone will finally answer.

Wonderful doctor! Doctor Nagamia saved my life 4/10/2022. I arrived at Brandon hospital having a heart attack and doctor Nagamia and his team in the cath lab placed a stent via my wrist, then on 4/11/22 placed the second stent through the groin. God Bless these wonderful caring people. Thank you

Dr Nagamia was suggested by my Cancer Doctor at Tampa General, so I made an appointment to see him. He seemed ok, so we both agreed that we needed an Echocardiogram, that I scheduled at the Brandon Location for 10.30 on the 17th of August. Because I am scheduled to start both Chemo and Radiation on that day, I arrived early, hoping they might take me in sooner then my 10.30 appointment. A Lady arrived at 10.15, and they called her back at 10.30, Not Me! So, I went up to the front counter to ask if they forgot about me, and they said no. At 11.15 am, the girl who does the Echocardiograms came for me, 45 minutes late! She told me to sit in a chair, as she went back into the room she was in. I could clearly hear the sound of an Echocardiogram being performed in that room she was in! Finally, about 20 minutes later the door opened, and out came the Lady who arrived there a full 1/2 hour after me! I could see then what was going on! This place scheduled 2 Echocardiograms, for the same time! By then, I was quite upset, and I did proceed to tell the Girl that this was not OK. I did point at her, but it was from a distance, not in her face or anything. She blew up, and started demanding I not point my finger at her. So, instead of apologizing to me for booking 2 appointments at the exact same time, and for being more then 45 minutes late to get to me, all she was concerned about was a finger pointing in her direction, from 7 feet away! By then, I had had enough with this place, and left. Dr Nagamia seemed nice, but his staff leave a lot to be desired. I will return to my old Cardiologist, at least I was never treated badly there.

Doing everything possible to deal whit the problem

While the doctor and the Nurse Practitioner are amazing the office staff is greatly lacking. Had an appointment scheduled following a hospital visit for elevated heart rate and blood pressure show up and they are like you aren't on the schedule, we can't see if. When I refused to leave made it seem like we're doing me a favor by having me wait for an hour to be worked in to see the Nurse Practitioner I had an appointment scheduled to see. Looking for a new cardiologist office.

The most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever been to, gave me the wrong diagnosis and had to go to a different one.
