I saw this surgeon 3 times in about a years time the first time was after I had a hernia mesh installed from another surgeon. I found out after having it removed by a surgeon in Sarasota that it was on the verge of strangulating my intestine I went back 2 other times before having the mesh removed the last time I went back he all but mocked me as I'm pointing at where my pain was, I went to a hernia surgeon in Sarasota not long after seeing this doctor and right where I had been pointing it was confirmed after surgery I had a hernia right where I said it was actually I had two I really don't like writing a bad review about anyone or their business but it was really frustrating to me how he handled my situation his staff was very friendly no complaints there but I will never step foot in this office again

Doctor Ferris and his staff are absolutely fantastic.I had a really bad experience and surgery with another doctor. I put off any surgeries until my PCP said I really needed surgery and recommended Dr.Ferris. He is amazing.I recovered quickly and would definitely recommend him and his staff. All of my questions were answered. The staff is friendly and efficient. Don't wait.He can help!!!

dr ferris saved my life in 2015 .The duedumen burst causing stepic and peritonitis . it took 3 months and another surgery but i am here today.That wonderful DR was in my room every day to see how i was feeling and if there was anything he could do. he truly cares . the next time you are in a Dr office that doesn't have their face in a computer and really know your name and how many kids you have without a computer or clip board let me know. because this DR can.

He is a wonderful doctor! I thank him and his staff my daughter had gall bladder surgery.He done a wonderful job we thank him and his staff what a wonderful experience and Advent Hospital is also very wonderful...I love it its a Christian Hospital staff there are great

Dr. Ferris was recommended to me and I am SO HAPPY! He is kind and caring. He will take time to answer your questions. A very gentle soul and has expertise in his field. I had confidence in his knowledge and felt comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat!

Dr. Ferris performed emergency surgery on me in 2018. He was upfront and sincere in his diagnosis, but at the same time caring and reassuring. He went to see me every single day for 2 weeks while I was in the hospital. He explains everything in a manner you can understand, and is open to questions. I truly recommend him and will remember him always.

Dr. Ferris did my gallbladder removal surgery. I was super nervous, and terrified of being put to sleep. He answered all my questions, and stayed in touch with hospital staff to the point they were almost annoyed of how precise he was. That's something I genuinely appreciate though! He's a man of few words, but his surgical skills speak for themselves! Definitely would choose him again in any future procedures needed!
