Husband was referred to Dr. Oates through Watson Medical facility by our regular MD there some years ago because of Type2 related issues. All these years, Dr. Oates has provided excellent services time spent with attention to conditions/meds etc. Dr. Oates just retired, and as he did so, my husbands improvement and control over his conditions are noted from benefit of Dr. Oates services. Were glad husband stopped dragging to the VA/Tampa and appreciate all the Watson doctors have done for him, Dr. Oates and the others. wife of RET/DAV/USA
Told me I ate myself fat. Didn’t run one test. I had a macro adenoma pituitary brain tumor that was accidentally detected while doing a MRI of my neck almost two years later. He was rude and obnoxious. I really don’t want to give him one star.
For the first time ever I finally found a great endocrinologist, he cares he answers questions. I wish I would have met him 3 yrs ago maybe I would still have my thyroids, and would not have gained so much weight. Great doctor here. I would not change him for any other.
This man needs to retire. He switched my Levothyroxine to Synthroid with no reasoning and would not tell me why. Come to find out he was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars by the drug company. He was uninterested in anything I had to say and was rude and not helpful. I am a nurse and am very involved in my care. My thyroid issues are simple so, I would hate to see someone who has a serious endocrine issues see help through this doctor!!!!!!!
he looks at a patient and makes an asumption, with out any of the factors, makes desions and diagnosis without full background of situation.
