List of Brian Z. Makhuli's Reviews
Dr. Makhuli is a great doctor. I had a total hip replacement performed by him on 101012. Day after surgery I was up walking that morning and doing exercises. I was released at same afternoon. Absolutely no pain after the surgery.
Listened to my symptoms and took conservative approach prior to shoulder surgery. Thoroughly explained what he was going to do prior to surgery and then used images from surgery to explain what was found and what was done. Very patient.
Dr. Makhuli and his staff were very professional and caring. The entire staff were very compassionate and made my wife and I feel at ease.
He did a great job on my knee replacement. Very pleased with him as a orthopedic. Surgeon. Nice personality.
Saw Dr. Makhuli for a shoulder problem. His diagnosis was on point and recommended an injection. I was very nervous since im not a fan of needles but he and his staff walked me through the process and it was completely painless. A few days later I was painfree and yet to have any problems with my shoulder. I would recommend Dr. Makhuli to anyone who ever needs an orthopaedic.
Love this Dr. I had knee surgery last year and he helped me get back to playing basketball. He is awesome
I went to Dr.Makhuli around 10 years ago when I was a teenager for a scoping knee surgery which he told me I had some torn ligaments but that was all. After my surgery which was just to clean out the torn cartilage my knee popped out of place at least 15 more times over the next year. I went to another doc who said I had actually torn several large ligaments partial tear in my patella tendon and fractured my femur and that because it was not handled properly I had to have another more serious surgery. This past year against my advice my brother had surgery on his shoulder to reattach some ligaments and muscle that had been torn. A few months later last week he had an MRI done at an expensive clinic in Miami and was informed that the ligaments and muscle had not been reattached at all and that they were not sure what if anything Dr.Makhuli and his team did.
Beware I fell and had excruciating pain in my knee. Dr Makhuli initially diagnosed it as only muscle tears and did not need surgery on the follow up he confirmed I did not need surgery but said there might be slight tears. A second option yielded a Dr that could see the tendon damage ordered an MRI to confirm and did surgery to a completely ruptured tendon. It is scary that a Doctor Mahkuli was not just wrong but completely wrong and stood by his diagnosis. So glad I got a second opinion.
BewareI saw Dr Makhuli the day I had my accident. He diagnosed me with a torn quadriceps mucle and did not recommend surgery. He reconfirmed the original diagnosis on the follow up visit. I was making no progress and went in for a second opinion. This dr could visibly see the tendon tear ordered a MRI to confirm and reccemended surgery. It was a FULL tendon rupture. I’m so glad I went for a second opinion and had the surgery and am expecting a full recovery. Dr Mahkulis diagnosis and treatment recommendations were completely wrong. Beware
Thank you Dr Makhuli for doing a great surgery on my ankle after I broke it. You were very attentive during the surgery process and the Windy Hill Surgerical Center was outstanding as you were Thank you. Sharla

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
