I had neck surgery 5 years ago. I had 2 failed disks and had 3 vertebrates fuzed together with a plate. Everything went well. I lost some motion in my neck but the pain is gone. I did my research and found that he wasis the best of the best surgeons in Georgia. I know I will need future surgery due to my condition. When I do require surgery I will definitely go back to Deftari.

I saw Dr Daftari this morning and his bedside manner was horrible. He cut me off with every question that he asked and did not give me time to answer. His whole attitude during my exam was condescending he even tried belittling my knowledge as a RN. I will NOT be going back to see him.

The first visit he was nice and thorough I liked him however second one was rushed and he was busy and did not take time to thoroughly sit and talk with me.

As a mother of one of his patients I do not appreciate him performing two back surgeries but still not fixing my son’s problem. The doctor now refuses to help him any longer .

I was referred to Dr Tapan K. Daftari for a ruptured L5S1 disc. Tapan K. Daftari M.D. and his PAs Jeffrey Hairston and Kenneth Holbrook were excellent. They were a really great team that took their time to sit down with me and explain what needed to be done to get me well. They answered all my questions and gave me confidence in the upcoming surgery. The micro discectomy was a huge success. So far I have had 2 postop checkups and everything is right on schedule and looking good. I couldnt be happier with Dr Daftari and his team.

Dr. Daftari performed spinal fusion on me and I believe he was unprepared and caused the surgery to be unsuccessful. I believe from his unpreparedness causing me to be in the operating room an excessive amount of timetimes. On top of that I contracted an infection in the hospital which worsened the problem. I believe being in the operating room too long and an extra day contributed to me getting the infection. I switched doctors and hospital in mid stream due to the errors. Thank god I did because I almost lost my life. I am now unable to walk without assistance. Due to this I lost my job my home and my wife. Beware of this Doctor. People are afraid of writing bad reviews due to getting sued. Well due to my situation I got nothing left to be sued for so have at it

Everyone worked with me at helping me understand everything and helped me to prepare realistic goals. I was so unsure about surgery and what to do but the explanations of the process in ways that I could understand help me to make a very hard decision.
