List of Upperline Health's Reviews
The doctor was unable to diagnose the cause of my wife's foot pain and that was after hundreds of dollars of shoes and inserts. To add insult to injury, they incorrectly charged almost $200 in copays and they are dodging our efforts at reimbursement.
Dr. Laur is fantastic, very compassionate and his experience and knowledge shows in his assessment and treatment. You won't find a better podiatrist! He did my surgery at the surgery center in Austell and had a wonderful experience and a great recovery with total relief from my pain/symptoms. I must say that I do not feel the same about the other doctors in the group, so I am only reviewing Dr. Laur here, not Village podiatry as a whole. My only complaint about the Acworth office is the front desk girl: I believe she is unaware of her gruff, loud, and slightly offensive communication style, but I dread interacting with her at each visit.
Nothing but a racket. Place is a disgrace as far as really caring about their patients.
Dr. Laur is one of a kind, he goes to the extra mile to help his patients because he really cares, and I am extremely grateful for his professionalism and kindness.I know him because he was taking care of my sister who had to go through surgery for bunions and heel bumps, she is diabetic and suffers also from anxiety episodes. He was very patient and kind with her. She is now back to normal, also enjoys long hikes and that is something amazing. Her new lifestyle and wellness is possible because of this surgeries and will be forever grateful.
On my third visit in a two month span, Dr. Laur would not see me because I could only pay $50.00 of my $60.00 co-pay. I truly could not believe it!!! I arrived 15 minutes early like they ask, told them my dilemma about paying only $50.00 and it took them 45 minutes to decide that losing $10 was too risky. I paid in full on first two visits and paid in full for the sucky inserts they sold me for $60.00. My insurance paid them and I had no other balance. They lost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars over $10.00! Dr. Laur is one of the owners of the practice and I know damn well it was his decision to not see me. Said "I'd have to reschedule." I said no way jackasses. Dr. Laur has been selling all kinds of stuff on Facebook yard sale page lately. Guess he's hard up and running a crappy business is probably why. Receptionist is a smartass and I should have seen all this coming when I had to deal with her on first visit.
Dr. Laur took great care and time to explain what was needed for correcting my bunion. Surgery was recommended and of course, I put it off as long as possible. When the pain was impacting my daily life I went back and decided to have the surgery. I wish I had not waited so long. I did not suffer with pain after the surgery. It was more an inconvenience. I took the pain med the day of the surgery and the day after just because I was afraid it would wake up and be painful but that never happened. By day 3 no pain meds. Other than keeping the swelling down and living with the walking boot for 6 weeks it has not been bad at all. I work from home so that is a big help with managing the swelling. If I had to walk around an office building all day that would require more effort I am sure. I am over the moon happy with Dr. Laur and would Highly recommend him. He will not recommend surgery if there are other options. 2 more weeks and I'm out of the boot!
Highly recommend Dr Mike Laur as an excellent podiatrist. He shows so much concern and kindness to his patients. He listens and takes the time to make sure you understand the problems and treatments. A long time patient that has received excellent care thru the years.
I have great respect for Dr. Laur. I have used him for minor foot problems and also for foot surgery. He always explains his diagnosis and what the final outcome should be. He takes his time with me and answers all my questions. I like his manner. My surgery went well. I appreciate all his staff and the way patients are treated.
Dr, Laur is a great foot doc. i have been seeing him for over 12 years from surgery to gout he's there to fix it. Thanks Next time your ankle is locked up ask him for the happy juice.
I went to Dr. Laur for leg pain thinking it was a sore tendon. Dr. Laur did an X-ray and ultrasound which should I was having a problem that was beyond a podiatrist fix. He referred me to a vein specialist. So thankful Dr. Laura expertise was able to point me in the right direction. I'm feeling better now. His office staff was really nice and helpful. The office was clean and very professional. I rate this doctor, staff and office 5 Stars.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
