Sara Harbin Pickett's Online Review Report Card

My children love Harbin Clinic Adairsville. Dr. Harbin Pickett goes above and beyond in every visit. She makes a point to play with my kids and keep the visit a fun experience. The staff is also very friendly. I would recommend this practice to my family and friends.

Post NOW I honestly can understand the one parent on a post being upset for refusal of their child being seen due to not wanting to vaccinate their child... it is your right. I also understand Dr Harbins issue on that I don’t feel that makes her a bad doctor at all for refusing. It actually makes me love her more than I already do knowing I’m taking my child in a safe environment since I’m a parent that is for vaccinations being on my second medical degree I know the damage that can be done. From my research I could be wrong but I think Dr Harbin has a child that requires extra medical attention just as my child does so not only is she thinking of her child but she’s also thinking of the other kids. You do not know everyone’s situation nor do you know the damage that can be done to these children if your child came in with a certain illness due to you not vaccinating a child with the extra medical necessity happens to be in the same room. Our children would not be just coming in for a sickness as your child they would literally be in the hospital fighting for their lives. Not trying to be mean at all but It’s not right to say she’s not a good doctor based on that when you should try and understand if you was a parent of a child that fights daily for their life. My son has had three open heart surgeries 2 stents and has recently started having medical issues again... I for sure would not want him to be exposed to things that the vaccinations are for have him fighting for his life in the hospital more than he already is. Dr Harbin is a great doctor.Previous post 5 months earlier I haven’t had great experiences with doctors on my son other than his speciality doctors in quite some time so as always I’m very hesitant taking him to another new doctor. I was recommended to Dr Harbin by a family member and I just left her office wow it was truly amazing finally having a physician that’s more knowledgeable than me on my child... I didn’t feel like I was having to put up a argument about what’s going on with my child... she actually listened to my complaints and took them seriously... she’s actually doing something about it instead of giving a temporary medicine like the rest... her nurse was amazing... the Phlebotomist was super amazing she didn’t allow my son to be uncomfortable at all during the most stressful moments of drawing his blood. I mean this office was great Dr Harbin really knows what she’s doing. I can now relax knowing my son has a complete amazing medical team again since Dr Joyave left his office. ~One happy patients mommy Marissa McSwain

Dr. Harbin spends time connecting with children and makes them feel as comfortable as they can be even when they are sick. The staff takes time to know your entire family and make you feel at home. You are always greeted with warm welcomes. Dr. Harbin is very knowledgeable and makes sure to thoroughly examine any issues.

After lots of research and reading many great reviews I brought my 8monthold to see Dr. HarbinPickett. When she discovered that my family has chosen to opt out of doing vaccines for our children she promptly told me that her office does not see unvaccinated children because they are a threat to other children in the waiting room. She then proceeded to speak to me as if I was uneducated and didn’t spend months researching my decision. I was floored. This is very unprofessional and uncaring of a doctor. I have the choice to decide whether or not to vaccinate my child and a doctor should never refuse to see a patient regardless of vaccination status. It is very apparent that Dr. HarbinPickett did not become a doctor in order to help children.
