On April 2, 2019 I had knee replacement surgery while in surgery Dr Snyder replaced my left knee during the process I lost blood flow to my lower leg during the process of surgery my popliteal artery was severely damaged I was told by the vascular surgeon who repaired it that the three walls were damaged causing a blood clot to close it off Dr. Oriowe was the vascular surgeon he said he tried to balloon the artery but it was so badly damaged he had to put a stent in it after the stent was put in approximately eight hours later I had to have fasciotomies to take care of the compartment syndrome in my lower leg I was also told by someone who looked at the OR notes that there was no technician to support the doctor in the surgery they were just basic people we don’t know how the artery was damaged in surgery from being rough when moving (Knee) or by tourniquet I was shipped out around 1 o’clock that afternoon the dr Snyder called my husband and said I was in recovery doing fine about 10 minutes later dr Snyder called back my husband and said I was being shipped out by helicopter I ended up loosing my leg thanks to dr Snyder
I had surgery replacing a right hip, March 2020. It was a long operation as I understand and Dr. Snider relieved my pain and gave me new life with a new right hip. I am active and on the go still hunting and fishing and working on my feet. I am due for a left hip two days before Christmas. This is the only guy I would totally trust. Here we go Doc on # 2! Tim - Petersburg, Mi
Please continue reading after this first paragraph! Absolutely wonderful physician! I had both knees replaced in June 2017 - truthful, caring, informative experience - I continue to progress with my new knees & I recommend him to anyone with orthopedic problems. There is more: Nov. 2019 - I have drastically changed my mind about Dr. Snider - I developed a hospital infection when my knees were replaced June, 2017. I routinely complained to Dr. Snider about pain in my left knee, to no avail. I was referred to a pain specialist & then a neurologist, received injections in my spine, had spine surgery in Colorado, but still had pain in my leg. The doctors then found that the cement in the tibia portion of my left leg had failed - it was like walking on a broken leg. I also had a life-threatening infection that had been encapsulated around my left knee joint. 2 knee replacements later (1 temporary while the infection was treated, then a permanent replacement) - I underwent 63 days of antibiotic infusions before my permanent knee replacement. I didn't sue Dr. Snider or Bixby Hosp. because by the time my infection was discovered, the statute of limitations was nearly expired. I am grateful to my doctors in Durango, CO for saving my leg and my life.
He’s the best of the best?? He’s fixed both of my broken legs 15 years apart... he’s so genuine and caring!!! His work is phenomenal and his bedside manner is outstanding!!! He’s taken care of my whole family for many years ??
I'm Sarah Rickard a new patient. I can't believe how great he is. He is so understanding, and compassionate. He really cares about his patients. I recommend him.
I had my right knee done by DR. Snider and you cannot even tell I had knee surgery unless you get up really close and look .not only is he a perfect surgeon he is a perfect cut man and I would recommend him any day any time over any doctor in his category
I have not yet had my surgery with Dr. Snider, but every visit has been great. He is always smiling, he is courteous, he explains things and takes time. Of course some days he will be busier than usual, so a bit of a longer wait or not as much time to linger and explain in depth, is to be expected. However, I have never waited for very long and I have never felt rushed in asking questions. His staff is very helpful and friendly. Both my husband and I are very, very happy with Dr. Snider.
I had both knees replaced by Dr. Snider in June, 2017 & would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic problems. His manner is truthful, caring & understanding.
My wife went into see Dr. Snider with a sore and injured knee. After some X-rays, the doctor told us "I cannot find anything wrong with you" If that's the case then why is my wife in severe pain and in a wheelchair. If the doctor can't believe the patient, then it's time to find another doctor. Arrogant, condescending and does not care for his patients...STAY AWAY
My wife went into see Dr. Snider with a sore and injured knee. After some X-rays, the doctor told us "I cannot find anything wrong with you" If that's the case then why is my wife in severe pain and in a wheelchair. It is not very confidence-inspiring when a doctor tells you that you should not be in that much pain; he didn't believe she should be at a such a high pain level. If the doctor can't believe the patient, then there's no trust between doctor and patient and we must question the doctor's ability and motives. We decided to find a "smarter" doctor, since it is obvious that Dr. Snider provides a low-quality of care and high degree of unprofessionalism. Moreover, he has and arrogant, condescending bed-side manner. When we followed-up with the doctor for next steps, his dissmissive and flippant comment was just to "take it easy" and take aspirin. Unbelievable, how he abandoned my wife and dismissed her pain. We don't think he has any compassion or care for his patients, and should not be in business of caring for people, since it is obvious he is only in practice for the money. This doctor should be avoided. If you value your physical health, find an smarter, more capable, and more caring doctor....STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
