West Albany Dental's Online Review Report Card

I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Killingsworth! We were visiting Albany over the holiday weekend when my son broke his tooth. Dr. Killingsworth talked with me over several phone calls trying to coordinate care and was able to help us off the clock for not even one of her own patients. I was so stressed but her care and concern was evident through all our conversations, and I appreciated it so much!

This clinic is completely unsanitary and patients are required to take an oral temp check from a dental assistant that either never wears gloves or efuses to sanitize her hands and has just touched the main door to the waiting room before putting her hand 1/4 inch from your mouth. This is completely unacceptable. When asked if the assistant could sanitize her hands or wear gloves, I was met with rudeness and disbelief on my previous 2 visits.Additionally, in the dental cubicle I witnessed a high level of cross contamination between the computer (which multiple staff were coming in an out using) and my personal dental equipment. Some practicioners that were touching the computer wore gloves and some did not. The computer was never sanitized between uses. New gloves were not used after touching the commonly used monitor before laying out the equipment that went in my mouth. I understand the clinic is completely overrun by sliding scale patients and that doctors and residents are overwhelmed. This however is no excuse for the practices in place. Explains the clinic or hire more staff so you can adequately provide care. If you cannot, and choose to be negligent and spread disease, it would seem to be a Hippocratic oath violation and overall these practices should be reported to the health office immediately.

Although a person can find fault with any business, this place is awesome! Doctor Dawson is great. She is very professional and concern about your health. Hope to be a permanent customer!

I have called and called them about an appointment . I talked to someone Two different times about my appointment and how I need to pay when I come to the dentist. Every time they would say let me find out and we will call you. No one will called me so I missed 2 of my appointment because I needed to make sure I had the funds before I went. when you call you can never get through or they put you on hold and never come back to the phone. I think this very unprofessional.

Closed On Mondays My Wise Tooth Start Hurting That Saturday Night

Dr. Dawson was kind and provided excellent care. Everyone in the office was also very kind and helpful.

Waiting months out for a painful tooth. Dentist skills are lacking and dangerous. Hygienist was overall ok.I don't recommend this place.

I have had a broken and painful back tooth and a chipped front tooth since December 2019. I have been trying to get an appt. To pull back and repair front since then. They always set me an appt. 3 months out then send me a letter they have to reschedule because the dentist will not be in that day. I had appt for next month but received another letter so now can't be seen until April. Now my front tooth has completely broken off. They cancelled my husband's appts. Said they would call him with another and he has never had a call. We will now be going elsewhere.

Dr Dawson is awesome. I have no insurance and at the present time unemployed. They saw me and treated me same day. I had no funds to get my 2 prescriptions. One of the employees called and paid for my medicine. She was heaven sent. May God bless this staff. Words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you all.
