At one time this was the preferred hospital in our area. Im not sure when the level of care dropped but I hope I never have to depend on this hospital for treatment. My father was sent to the ED due to low oxygen with covid. Four hours later he is still struggling to breath. They finally gave him oxygen and told him they would be releasing him without ever giving him breathing treatment. He finally left and went to another hospital where he was admitted. This is not acceptable.

i have been here over 3 hours because of my left arm being numb and tingling i was here three hours before i saw a doctor and their not even busy

Worst hospital staff is rude unprofessional patient information violation hippa I would rather travel to Savannah and get proper care

Took my granddaughter to the ER with a high fever throwing up and dehydration and the doctor said she may have an infection so they sent her home. The next day she was sent by ambulance from the waycross hospital to Savannah hospital for surgery on her gall bladder. Bacon County Hospital is the worst place to go.

I have been coming to Bacon County Hospital for several years with no complaints. That being the very reason I drive from Blackshear to Alma if we need to go to the hospital. Last night I happened to have my two year old little girl up there sick with the flu. The nurse that worked triage was VERY impatient with my little girl. She was slinging pens because Sophia wouldnt stand on the scale and was being a NORMAL SICK two year old. The wait time was about 3 hours with nearly no one but us up there. They gave Sophia NO medicine what so ever never explained anything about the flu to me or anything. I have never had the flu. Sad to say but from now on it looks like Jesup will be where we go if we dont go to Brunswick. Im extremely disappointed.
