Anand K. Shah's Online Review Report Card

I just want to say that my first visit with Dr. Shah yesterday was fantastic! He was on time and so thorough with my exam. The entire time he explained what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what he could offer me as far as treatments. I found him through my insurance company as my former opthamologist was no longer in network. I can honestly say that the experience I had here, vs the large practice I had been seeing in the past, was far superior. Definitely check out Dr. Shah!

This was my first visit to Dr. Shah and it was great. I was so pleased with the time that he took to evaluate me. He was very professional and knowledgeable and he has a great, caring personality. I am so glad I found him and will definitely go back.

Anxiety sufferers like myself have dreaded scheduling visits with an ophthalmologist, fearing the process of getting our pupils dilated. To add to the stress, reviewing online feedback comment accounts of the zombie effect and blurred vision promising to last for hours, intimidated me further. However, this all changed upon scheduling my visit with Dr. Anand Shah. He contacted me before my scheduled visit to reassure me and to talk through my anxiety. On the day of my visit, my anxiety level was at a 10 but faded rather quickly. Dr. Shah is very personable and walked me through every step of the process, ensuring my comfort level. Apart from slight blurriness due to looking at the light during the examination process, my vision was not impaired. I could see clearly, except for a slight haze that didn’t prove to cause panic at all. I could read signs and could have easily driven home right after. I was seen promptly. The staff is very professional, and Dr. Shah is a great ophthalmologist. He took the time for a thorough diagnostic checkup, and did a good job explaining his findings.

Dr. Shah brings a level of patient care and medicine not commonly found anymore. He carefully orchestrated a referral process for a retina specialist for me, and explained the process all along the way. You truly feel cared for in this practice, no matter what your eye issue is. He is a careful listener and provides the complete context in order for you to understand your treatment and the entire process. In addition, his assistant is highly capable and personable. Highly recommend Dr. Shah--a wonderful physician!

Great Doctor, Did a thorough exam and explained everything very clearly

It was my husband Babar’s first visit with Dr Shah. He was very pleased with the visit. Dr Shah took time to take history. Did appropriate tests and review his old records and answered all his questions and was very through and gave excellent treatment recommendations. I would highly recommend him.

He was very reassuring, giving me lots of information and taking the time to make sure I didn't have any concerns or questions before leaving his office.
