She is the best. Been seeing her for 15 years and don't want to see anyone else.

Dr. Nix is an amazing, personable doctor. She has been my OB/GYN for 10 years and I am thankful for her. After a miscarriage and a horrific experience with another doctor, I found Dr. Nix. She ran the proper tests and correctly diagnosed what caused my miscarriage and I have not let her go since. She is great at what she does and definitely shows that she cares.

I haven't seen Dr Nix in years so she may be different now. The pros were she was knowledgeable about meds/supplements for nausea during pregnancy, nice demeanor in the office prior to delivery. She was a safe, careful Dr and I did like some of her birthing views but based on my own experience and what I've seen in L&D over the years from working as a nurse I don't agree with all her birthing preferences. Maybe hers will align with yours though. The negatives were that because I had no pain with contractions the day my son was born and no other symptoms besides a very slow trickle, her on call widwife told me to go ahead and eat that day and go about the day as normal while there were no symptoms. So about 4 hrs after eating the leakage was scant but still continuing so I decided I should go any way to the hosp and it was wise because it turned out it was an early leak and not much amniotic fluid left which isn't safe. Dr Nix angrily accused me of eating anyway while knowing we were going to have to do a planned c-section. I told her I couldn't feel any of the contractions and that her on call midwife gave me the ok because it was a slow trickle and not obvious to her. She interrupted me and told me that what I was saying wasn't true. I'm a very honest person and was being sincere so it really upset me but I controlled my words and just didn't say anything else to her about it. I tried to be somewhat understanding with her because she may have been already having a stressful day before she got to my birth. After the c-section the gas pain that had spread into my neck was severe and I wish that she had warned me to get up immediately after 24 hrs after a c-section as I was a new nurse at the time and was not very experienced yet with the ob population. I got through it and changed OB Drs immediately after my son was born. So I gave her 3 stars because my experiences with her were a mixed bag.

So happy I found her! Fabulous OBGYN-recommend to all my friends and co-workers. Excellent bedside manner, thorough, easy to talk to, never seems rushed, and answers all questions. She also performed a fibroid surgery on me and I've had great results. My husband even said how impressed he was by her!

Great practice but it's hard getting them on the phone.

I'm currently pregnant with my second child and after how she handled my first pregnancy I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else! She is informative and instructive with out being wishy washy or overly blunt. I trust her not only with my health but with the health and well being of my unborn baby.

I have been a patient of Roswell OBGYN for over 13 years. I have never been comfortable with Dr Nix. She interrupts me when I ask questions, and dismisses me as if my questions are not valid. I also feel she has a very "textbook" approach to patient care. If your experience in pregnancy is not typical, I don't think she has an answer. I receive a much more individual and personal approach from the other doctors and midwives in this practice. I am surprised by her profile having 4 stars. I don't believe she deserves them.

Dr. Nix is the absolute best! She is so kind and caring and makes sure you understand everything. Actually the whole practice is amazing. I got to meet with all of them as I was admitted to the hospital early due to preterm labor. Can't say enough about them. Oh and Dr. Nix's nurse Debbie is so helpful and compassionate. She put up with all my emails and phone calls and never complained.
