Front desk is slow to respond and takes forever to reach a real person. Everything is automated so if what you need doesn’t not fall within the options good luck. Sad to say I felt like Dr. Lee did not listen and brushed off my concerns. I had high hopes but was let down when I voiced my difficulties with treatment that ultimately affected me negativity.

I did not feel great about my first and only appointment with Atlanta Functional Medicine. I was caught off guard when two staff trainees were a part of my appointment and I was not asked if I was comfortable with this as a new patient. The nurse practioner leading my appointment spent a great deal of time talking with the two trainees and I did not feel like I was getting the full value of our time together. I understand training has to happen but I would have appreciated being asked or given advance warning about this as I have been with my primary care practice. Additionally, I was discouraged that the tech taking blood was unable to - she could not access a vein and told me she had to stop trying after so many attempts. I was instructed that I would need to schedule another time to come back to have my blood drawn. I have never experienced anything like this before and found it quite frustrating. I did not schedule a second appointment and lost quite a bit of money out of pocket for such a disappointing experience.

I cannot recommend Dr. Linda Lee at Atlanta Functional Medicine enough !! I have been struggling with gut issues for the majority of my life and after a consultation and getting on a plan to heal my gut, my issues were resolved !! Dr. Lee is so kind and is very knowledgeable about all things dealing with holistic nutrition. If you are considering a more holistic way of healing your gut, this is it !! Truly cannot recommend a place or doctor more, you will not regret it !! :)

Dr. Board is one of the most knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated doctors I have had the pleasure of learning from. As a student, I cannot think of a better educator and mentor in the medical field. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend working at Atlanta Functional Medicine to gain invaluable clinical and/or administrative experience. Dr. Board and her staff will train you to think critically and look deeper into the root cause of chronic disease.

This place is going downhill with this new management. Dr Lee is great . But staff is rude and management is worse. I have to see a different office. Im not being appreciated here at all.

Ashley Walker has been fantastic! She has helped me so much over the years to get healthier. I have also learned so much from her. Plus the office staff is fantastic. Always so helpful and professional. I love this practice!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Board’s since AFM opened. She is such a wonderful, thorough and caring doctor. She really takes the time to understand and help her patients. The front office is helpful as well, always responding to any inquiries quickly.

I was so lucky to find Atlanta Functional Medicine about two years ago. Dr. Elizabeth Board is absolutely so amazing and just the best! I have been going to integrative medicine doctors for many years but they all just stick their heads in the office, talk to you for five minutes and on to the next patient. But Dr. Board is so personable and takes all the time that is needed to get to know her patients and take care of every need they have. I have never had a doctor as good and as caring as Dr. Board. I also have to mention Julia, who's at the front desk, she is incredibly knowledgeable, and so kind and always answers all your questions. Thank you so much Julia!!! Zoe

I did the 7systems plan with Dr. Lee. I also saw her for labs and varies health problems no doctors have been able to figure out. Not only have I been losing weight but I have my life back energy wise. I truely think her and Kim the health coach saved my life. I literally feel like a new person. I went from zero energy and never losing weight to feeling better than I ever have in my life and dropping weight healthfully. She knows her stuff. She found two things doctors have missed for decades. It's worth the money and they do everything they can to work with your insurance and let you know up front any costs.

Wanted to update my review as they just gave me a call back explaining they had a backlog from May and are just getting back to everyone now and that they were super happy I found another provider in the meantime. Nice customer service but would've loved to have gone to them. Maybe if things don't work out with my current provider I will. ------- I'm actually glad I just ran into their Yelp. I have tried to call and reach them, filled out their forms without still being contacted back within a 3 week period. Their line works but I guess they aren't seeking to onboard new patients
