Dr. Drahush is an amazing surgeon with such Compassion and wonderful Bedside manner. After my Surgery, he took so much time to ease my fears and went over every report, scenario and questions I had in great detail. I would 100% recommend him to anyone that is looking for a GS. He may look young, but he is extremely knowledgeable and very good at what he does!

What a fantastic surgeon!  Unfortunately we needed a second (unrelated) surgery and there was no question who we were going for our consult. Dr. Tucker provided unparalleled service in this day and age.  He is a truly talented healthcare provider and an exceptional human with his positive bedside manner and true concern for his patients.  We are beyond grateful for his exceptional care.

I went to see Dr. Tucker for a consultation back in August 2018. I was scared about needing surgery and had concerns which he laughed at like it was ridiculous for me to ask the questions I had and as I was about to leave the consultation room he said "it's a good thing they haven't found a cure for gallstones, or I would be out of a job"  that may be true to him but why would he tell a patient that. All I wanted was a cure and instead I had to have an organ removed....not by him...or anyone in his group. I found a great surgeon in Gainesville who was professional and skilled.

My experience with Dr. Tucker is almost unbelievable in this day and age. Dr. Tucker performed a complete thyroidectomy in November of 2016, during in which he took it upon himself to sew up as he put it, "loose tissue in the right corner of my throat/neck, unfortunately he excluded these details from the surgical report.  First of all, Medical records are legal documents, surgeons are required to list all details of the surgery BUT he left out this part.  This is illegal.  Upon being brought to my room after recovery, I experienced chest pains, congestive heart failure symptoms, which is a potential side effect to this surgery, but that had not been disclosed to me. Within 6 weeks my body was bloated with fluid, I kept calling his office for an appointment but the front desk would say, "Oh so and so will call you", I never got a call.  Long story short I ended up in ICU at another hospital, because after going back to Northside Hospital-Cumming,GA where the surgery was performed, I was kicked to the curb, they didn't want to deal with me, can we say cover up.  I received treatment for the 25-30 pounds of fluid build up over my heart and lungs, and was released, however because of this huge lump in the right corner of my throat and neck hinders the flow of fluid in my body and I struggle with fluid build up to this day, it hinders my breathing and it hinders being able to swallow properly.  I have been tested for these issues and the results reveal and confirm the above claims.  I made an appointment with the office manager at Chattahoochee Surgical group Cumming,GA, and stated my complaints, in conclusion to our meeting I agreed to see another surgeon in the practice to perform a corrective surgery.  I met with Dr. Clay Cohen earlier this year, and much to my surprise he did NOT believe that Dr. Tucker did what I said he did, yelled at me saying, "who told you tissue was sewed up in your R side of the neck/throat? I responded that Dr. Tucker did, this was before I actually read my surgical report.  I responded to Dr. Cohen saying, well Dr. Tucker told me he sewed up "loose tissue" in the bottom R side of my throat/neck. The conversation got heated for a few minutes and then I was ousted from the office.  Here's the rub though, I have before and after imaging studies that prove that there is tissue sewed up up in the bottom R side of my neck/throat, there are 3 STAPLES, hmm, I wonder how these got there?? I wonder how these ended up there.  Also, last August out of desperation, I called Dr. Tucker's office and asked if I had been banned as a patient, they made light of it and schedule an appointment for me to see Dr. Tucker.  When I walked into his exam room, he was nervous and frigidity, was unable to make eye contact with me and refused to engage in a dialogue with me, BUT referred me to a Pain Management Doctor stating oh he will do a Botox injection and then send you for physical therapy.  Well if he is denying that he sewed up soft tissue and I am in discomfort from that, it begs the question, why did he refer me to a Pain Management Doctor?? Hmm, this seems odd.  After that appointment with Dr. Cohen, I realized that Dr. Tucker withheld this information from the the Surgical report, thinking I don't have a leg to stand on, well he is wrong, the imaging studies that were recently performed reveal the TRUTH.  I can't help but conclude that the entire practice is covering up for Dr. Tucker, or at least that how it appears to me on the surface.  Proceed at your own RISK you have been warned.

I visited the Alpharetta location and they are located at the Northside campus on Old Milton - 3400A.  The front desk staff were friendly and got us checked in quickly.  I downloaded the new patient packet and had those filled out beforehand, so that saved time.  We were called back within about 20 mins and Dr. Tucker's nurse is the sweetest.  She really made us feel at ease and provided lots of information while she sorted through the medical history.Dr. Tucker was all smiles and had the best bedside manner.  He spent so much time thoroughly explaining the next steps and patiently answered our questions.  Even though this was our first time meeting, I felt he really took the time to get to know us and that he'd probably actually remember who we were the next time we met. I've read many great reviews from other patients and I'm at ease with him so far.
