I had a very disturbing experience with my 4-year-old son at this office and feel compelled to share for other parents. My son was seen for fillings on his front teeth. Before the procedure, I was not clearly informed about potential outcomes, including changes to the appearance of his teeth. I was also not allowed to be present during the procedure, which made me uncomfortable but I trusted the staff. After the visit, my son was extremely upset--crying the entire ride home until he fell asleep, which is completely out of character for him. He told me that staff were mean to him, that he was restrained, and that when he said he was in pain and asked for me, he was told they didn't care. Hearing that from a 4-year-old was heartbreaking. His teeth are now visibly discolored and shaped differently, which was never discussed beforehand. When I raised my concerns with the dentist, they were dismissed in a way I found unprofessional and lacking empathy. As a parent, I expect clear communication, compassion, and the ability to advocate for my child none of which I felt were provided here. I would strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions and carefully consider their options before proceeding with treatment at this office.

His front teeth are now visibly discolored and shaped differently, which was never explained as a possible outcome before treatment. I feel there was a serious lack of communication and informed consent. When I brought up my concerns, they were dismissed in an unprofessional and insensitive way. As a parent, that was incredibly frustrating and alarming. I would not recommend this office. Parents should be fully informed, treated with respect, and allowed to advocate for their child’s care.

She has been my son’s dentist since he was very little, and now he is 13. I’m so grateful for the care, kindness, and attention they have always given him. Thanks to them (and God!), his teeth are in great condition. Highly recommend!

We recently took one of our kids in for a cavity filling with Dr Haffner. Our child is very, very afraid of needles. Dr Haffner was able to work with us to find a way to get the filling done. She and her staff were incredibly patient, caring, gentle and efficient. Really appreciate the extra time she and her staff spent getting our child comfortable. Thank you Dr Haffner!

My 3 kids have been seeing doctor Christy Haffner for 20 years, 18 years and 12 years now. It's always been an enjoyable experience for everyone, and their team is always fantastic. I'm so grateful to have had her for all these years.

Dr. Haffner is extremely caring and gives her full attention to each patient as an individual. Her qualifications are among the best you will find anywhere, and she has been practicing pediatric dentistry for about three decades. You can trust your child's dental care to Dr. Haffner and her team; you will never regret choosing her to be your child's dentist.

Dr. Haffner and staff are always pleasant and helpful. My daughter has been coming here since she was 2 years old. They build rapport with the kids to make them comfortable whenever they come in for a visit. I would recommend.

Staff wasn’t ready with x-rays from prior place. And kept putting us on wait. Dr Didn’t go over the treatment plan. And the staffs kept putting us on hold while getting estimates from insurance which was incorrect anyway.

So we are referred here by our TEBO Dentist for our Son’s treatment!! Unprofessional and stressful !! Terrible experience today. This is the second time we are facing this. We had morning appointment, and our son was fasting since night for his treatment. We arrived early, but weren't seen until 11am because the receptionist forgot to pull his file. There were no other patients we and one more, just 2 patients. So Very irresponsible and disappointing. 😔 Also there is no reminder system here. No call or message. We got the message today early morning at 7.15 am about our today’s appointment. Good we added this in our calendar and were ready for the same. Last time our appointment was on Feb 2nd same early morning our son was fasting 13+ hrs since night for his treatment. He missed his school. We reached before time and their office was closed. No update via call or message. No information was left on their office door. It wasn’t any holiday either. We waited an hour and then left. We come here from Decatur. Almost 45 min drive. Around 2 called them to ask the receptionist, she was like no we are open since morning, but when said we were there and then she was like o yes sorry, due to weather we opened late. Kid hungry, stressed. Unacceptable. Lack of organization caused unnecessary wait. Specially Kid has suffered both the times.
