UPDATE: 2nd time we visit their office, 1st visit closed, 2nd visit the manager is out already at 3pm. this is so inconvenient.-1 star again. Forget about calling them, they won’t answer or return your call. we settled our bills last year but we keep on receiving invoices thru mail. we keep on contacting them, but no return calls, and voicemail is always full. so frustrating. we found out that the doctor and manager last year is already gone too. what is happening. The procedure is good and smooth, but the billing and costumer service after procedure is bad.
Can’t get these people to help, they have double charged me can I give them less than 1 star?
I'll give half stars because since the beginning it wasn't all bad. It was a def headache with the front staff as well as trying to get thru via phone when it came to billing. I would be in the office every single visit for over 3-4hrs. Now, before i came in, i had major issues with 2 different dentists that did work that i was told shouldn't have been done. After meeting DrMcKay he assured his work and has been A1 since day 1. I was extremely upset to find out he left, esp after going thru all that trauma i went thru before. But all in all, i was open to giving this new (to me) dentist a chance. She was def sweet & knowledgeable & friendly but to be frank, every office member is sweet and kind, so were the other offices i been to as well that made huge mistakes. Like i mentioned Every time i come here, it's literally at least over an hr wait before im even seen. And im always early and still. Today was 2 hours. U can hear 2 patients leaving and another complaining in the waiting area as he was an emergency visit. Let alone the entire convo u can hear btwn front staff and insurance on a patient that was there. we heard the entire convo in the waiting rm because the phone was on speaker. Im happy that wasn't me cause i wouldve took action on hippa law!!!! I have spent thousands not hundreds but thousands getting my tx finalized. It's been an absolute long but understanding process. I have paid my dues. Now, this very last visit i am having hardship, which i dont expect a handout but a payment plan, which i am good for without having to pretty much do that credit card plan they offer. That's just insane to me. I've been thru hardship before, and it was completely understood and took into consideration where i pay monthly until i can do a lump sum. I spent 2 plus hrs going back& forth and nothing!!!! Not only that, but i drive 1hr25min one way every time, and try to have convos onthe phone everytime before coming in so i can avoid the excessive time inthe office yet it gets brushed off & i still must come in to deal w/whatever unnecessary issue. so leaving work early for this is excruciating to begin with and because i found dr mckay after having such tragic experience i didnt want to switch yet again. Hes actually been great! I also had a clean up in which was told i need a deeper clean and have to pay extra money after being told its covered by insurance for specific reasons which i did pay but when i got home i was pissed cause it wasnt even clean clean. I have dental tools home and unfortunately ended up scraping the plaque and bu off myself. Oh i have vids and pics btw jic! And last ins visit i signed off a paper with amnt next thing u know im getting another bill. I paid all my dues. i was told by ins that the office never sent some docs they needed from me. I told the office staff 3 xs. Yes numerous times over the phone but 3xs face to face she even assured that itll be taken care of and said please yet it never was. I was almost sent to collections which i couldn't deal going bck & forth w/front staff anymore after promising itll be done/fixed so i just went ahead & paid that xtra that they billed after the fact that i was paid in full. Im just beyond furious with how unorganized and a mess they are. Everytime taking out hrssssssss out of my work and life time for nonsense. I wish i knew where mckay went and wish ppl kept their words and were more understanding compassionate and organized. This place has been an absolute mess. Im sadden that now again i must find yet again another dentist. The money i lost at work today and the other times and having to travel i def shouldve been taken care of. Dr McKay wouldve never just left me to leave without finishing my treatment! Even the new dentist said if u pay something can we move fwd which i was. Its alot more complaining i can do cause its a list as well as vids and pics but ill cut it . One person says one thing then everytime theres a printout of cost im signing something diff every single time.
Costal Dental services that are listed on the website are not in GA but Florida if you need the oral surgery for implants 400 there and back but they do take GMO providers but not in GA,,(:{
Cancelled my appointment on me for the third time in a row, twice with only an hours notice and I was already driving on the way in! Don't waste your time trying.
Coast Dental has made tremendousl improvements in the last 12 months. My visit here today was a very pleasant experience. The dentist and the tech did both a fabulous job.
I can't thank Coastal Dental enough for their down-to-earth, practical, and friendly staff. Their excellent bedside manner and compassion towards patients truly set them apart. I appreciate their flexibility with rescheduling appointments and their genuine care for their patients' well-being. Though immediate attention upon arrival isn't always guaranteed, I recognize the challenges they handle behind the scenes and trust in their best efforts. The staff's genuine demeanor and committed endeavors are evident, particularly in assisting me in achieving what I once deemed impossible – straightening my teeth. I sincerely appreciate Coastal Dental for positively influencing my dental journey!
First appointment was specifically booked with Dr Shruti Shah, when I showed up I found she had left a long time ago. Saw Dr McKay but was told Hygienist had gone home and could not do cleaning to rebook. App was booked for today, received vm thurs and text saying, ‘Unfortunately, the appointment has to be rescheduled due to the hygienist not being available. Your new appointment has been rescheduled to March 28,2023 at 1pm’. I called office this am to complain about the constant changes and was told to come in am. Hygienist checked teeth and said cleaning could not be done I need scaling which was around $275. Knowing scaling hurts for a while, I begged to get cleaning and would rebook. Dr came and said ‘why pay twice?’ I tried to explain and ended up leaving without any cleaning. I had to file a grievance with Insurance to get my X rays so I can go somewhere else. Now they are billing me for a cleaning that they never did!!!! STAY AWAY!
Dr. Quinn and especially his staff were super fantastic, terrific, and wonderful. They explained the process for what I needed with their eyes closed and we had fun! I think that they helped me to let go of my anxiety and that is a powerful thing to be able to do for a person
Avoid this dentist. They will look to charge you for as many services as they can, including unnecessary ones.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
