I really feel like he listened to me and really cared. It's hard to find that nowadays. He was right about the diagnosis, and he did not order a lot of unnecessary tests. Wish I could give 10 stars!

Moved here from the west coast. Was so nervous about meeting a new cardiologist as good as the one I was seeing before. I tried a couple in the area but never really connected with them. I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. Nelson. I really didn't want to but she insisted. I was so glad I did. He was so friendly and easy to talk to. He explained everything very well. My husband was also impressed and is also going to start seeing him, too!

I found Dr. Nelson excellent in caring for me and my mother. He took the time and explained all the issues. He was very easy to talk to and so personable. We didn't feel rushed. He presented the various options for the treatment plan so that we felt like we participated in the decision making. Would highly recommend!

I was assigned to Dr. Nelson because my primary cardiologist in the same practice was not available. After waiting to see him almost an HOUR after my scheduled appointment time, I found him to be pretty arrogant - it was obvious that he was very sure of himself, and not in a good way. During our brief visit, he was not only pretty condescending, but also called into question decisions made by my primary doctor AND my cardiologist - who is in the same practice. Are you kidding me? Never again.

My doctor/cnp Lee Tidman, referred me to him. They got me in ASAP! Staff was so kind! Dr. Nelson was exceptional!! Across the board!! Took so much time with me! And sincerely cared! So glad my Dr. Sent me!! Very impressive! Hope between the two I can get fixed. :) Because I've never felt so sick before. 10 stars!
