Good morning, 3 weeks ago, my daughter had an outpatient procedure performed by Dr Juanita Wyatt Hathaway. Yesterday was the follow-up appointment. My daughter and I had a horrible triade experience with a very rude assistant who didn'tgive my daughter the option if she wanted ne in the room or not. The first and second visit, I the mother was allowed in the triade part. When Dr Hathaway came in the room she made sure I knew she heard the whole thing and her assistant did nothing wrong, told me to lower my voice and tried to call me by my first name. I've been seeing Dr Smith for 19 plus years and Dr Hathaway was given the opportunity to take care of the outpatient procedure because her schedule was more open. Btw my daughter's cyst is coming back because she left blood and fluid in the wound and the stitches hasn't dissolved. Smh...My daughter Destiny, her twin sister, Destiny's father and me are very disappointed and hurt by this entire experience/ process. My daughter is a virgin. Dr. Hathaway don't have good bedside manners. My daughter kicked her the first visit and this pre-op visit my daughter almost jumped off the table twice. We all should've waited on Dr Yvette Smith schedule to open up because this has been a horrible horrible horrible experience for my young adult daughter who is 19 and her immediate family. My favorite Dr. there is!! Dr. Hathaway was my Dr. throughout my whole pregnancy and she always took her time to make sure everything was good and answered all my questions! When it was time for delivery she was the Dr. on call but only till 7pm, I got to the hospital around 5pm and needed an unexpected C-section. Dr. Hathaway talked me through everything and comfort me and even stayed over time to be sure she was the one to deliver my baby since she knew how stressed I was about the situation and how important it was to me even without me saying anything! She truly is the best Dr. in the office and I’ll stick with her for as long she’ll practice!

I have been a patient for 20 years and Dr. Wyatt-Hathaway has been an exceptional doctor.

Stick with Emory! Bedside manner left much to be desired! After waiting an hour and a half to see her, she came in speaking from the hallway never seeing my face saying 'Nice to see you again.' I then told her I was a new patient and we had never met. She rushed through my appointment and because I had an abortion she automatically jumped to me getting on birth control. She was very judgmental without asking any questions about family planning. She was not informative the bc she suggested was one I had not heard of but instead of giving me the facts or a brief summary she said she would give me a pamphlet. Not to mention it took days for all my results to comeback. I definitely felt like billable hours. I will never visit this office again!

The best doctor (of any type) I’ve had! Gives thorough explanations and consistently has great follow up! I trust her all of her recommendations. Takes the time to get to know patients a bit, so you don’t feel like just another number.

Excellent Ob/Gyn Dr. Hathaway is an excellent physician. She trusted my advocacy about my symptoms and rapidly addressed the underlying causes saving my life. Several days into my hospital stay she sat with me to explain what had happened and answer all of my questions. She is an exemplary physician.

I had a bleeding tumor, Dr. Hathway was rude and extremely rough and didn't seem to care. Her staff was polite and seemed bothered by her comments and actions. No bedside manner and I would not recommend this doctor. She later called and tried to act concerned, but I had already moved on to another doctor.

The staff was the only positive aspect of my visit. My OBGYN was out of town, so I made an appointment with her. She is quite cold and rude with extremely poor bedside manner. She cut me off while I was speaking to “fact check” me about my OBGYN. I waited at least an hour to see her and when I finally did, it was extremely rushed. She did not clearly explain what her next steps would be and what I should expect and merely told me “this is going to be uncomfortable” while I was in blindsided with pain. I would never recommend her to any of my peers.

I have been seeing Dr. Hathaway for four years now and she has been phenomenal. She is, hands down, my favorite doctor. She has always taken care of me and listened to my concerns and answered any questions. She is straight forward and kind and I appreciate someone who is to the point. She has a lot of patients and cares about them all. I would recommend her to anyone!

I would not recommend this doctor to any pregnant woman. She does things without explaining why she is doing them. When you question her, the answers aren't straightforward. No good bedside manner. Does not respect the patient's right to decline. She picks and chooses who she wants to be nice to. I can tell its about the money for her. There aren't many reviews out there about her but the ones you will find, all say about the same thing. Rude, and just not good service. Wait times are horrible and she does not care about anyone's time.
