Kaiser Permanente's Online Review Report Card

I came in two days in a row to get a flu shot and the first time I come here they told me to come the next day because the nurse wasn’t in that day next time I came there the nurse was still not in and they have no line for phone calls where you can ask to see if there is a nurse. you should always come and check in person to know. also I had to drive here on rush-hour for two times and there was nothing they could do. Going to my vacation without my shot hope i wont get sick 🤞

I've only used their pharmacy services. I ordered a refill through the KP app. When I got there, I had to wait because supposedly I was there "too soon" for a refill, even though the Rx was for 30 day supply, and my last fill was >1 month ago. They had to go back in the system and make adjustments, which resulted in me having to wait, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid with the app.

Kaiser provides little to no healthcare. Members are just a member #. Everyone calls the main number no matter what the reason is. My daughter needed a mental health appointment and the first available was MONTHS away!! Mental health issues are not something to put on hold for months. After pushing the numbers to get through to a person, you will continue getting transferred around and finally probably disconnected. When we finally got a scheduler in the correct dept, she was asked if she was going to harm herself or anyone else. The answer is no, so we have an appoint for you in 3 months. No further questions. That is the category we were dumped in. She had already been diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorders by Kaiser doctors. Doesn't matter, back of the line. My family and our employer pay a lot of money for this healthcare. Hire some doctors please! I wish I could give negative stars. We are now paying to for a good doctor outside of Kaiser. Run, do not walk, away from Kaiser Permanente

Dr. Makkar is very knowlegeable honest and caring. Always give you great advises. Highly recommended.

It took over an hour beyond my appointment time to see a nurse for a blood pressure check. This is unacceptable.

I have been a patient at this Kaiser Permanente facility for more than 15 years.Every worker at this facility is friendly, helpful, and highly professional.I really appreciate the fact that in many ways it is “one stop shopping” for many aspects of my healthcare. :Today for example, I was evaluated for hip pain by The primary care doctor. I was also able to get my flu shot during the same appointment. I was also able to get my hip x-rayed immediately and also to be able to discuss the results with the doctor afterward. In addition, I am able to pick up the prescription the doctor wrote for me at the in-house facility immediately after the appointment.I am a Kaiser Permanente “senior advantage” member; and only pay about $75 per month for my premium. That is a real bargain for my health care.I really think that Kaiser Permanente should be the exemplary model for healthcare in our Country !

Dr. Makkar is fantastic She’s extremely thorough and very nice. She educates you on what’s going on with your body and gives you great tips on how to keep yourself healthy

Dr Makkar is a true professional that is competent and detailed oriented. She listens to me as her patient which makes me feel comfortable.If anyone is looking for a physician I highly recommend her she is second to none.
